@fresh cliff I actually really like the Theseus/Asterius fight. It takes a long time to learn the patterns, because you're dealing with two bosses and have two sets of telegraphs to look for. I feel like it definitely makes you a better Hades player learning how to take that fight well. I agree that his "open to damage" time is a little smaller than some other bosses, but by then you should have a good set of skills that works well enough or you're not going to have as good a time on the final boss.

Oh yeah, based on my sample size of 2 runs right now, Meg is always chamber 14, Hydra is chamber 24, Theseus chamber 36
Sorry I was off by a few numbers just now
But I've seen cases of chaos gates right before Charons shop (ie chamber 12, right before shop at 13). Entering would lead to Chaos being chamber 13, the shop is chamber 14, and Meg would be 15.
That's the only time where the gate didn't 'use up' an encounter, but I don't know how it affected the further chambers in the run
On a side note, just picked up Chaos's +200% Darkness twice. Fated Authority, here I come

Whereas I had little to no trouble with 3, they just got a few good hits on and I hadn't healed before lol
Also I don't know if it's always there, but there are healing pots on level 2 boss in the top left/right of the arena. Didn't notice it before or if it's random chance

yeah i thought of that too, just seems like you should be able to roll heroic boons along with commons/rares/epics under the right conditions, like having multiple effects that increase the rarity of your next boon. like, eurydice's next-rarity-upgrade plus the guaranteed epic duo plus yarn of ariande, feels kinda weird to still roll just epics with all that

Rocket Bomb is really good with Eris, though.
You can just shoot a wall or enemy next to you for an instant boost and it lets you more reliably keep the boost when kiting for long periods of time.

Hestia is fun, especially with Explosive Shot and Rocket Bomb, cause you fire, then while you're normally reloading you just hit special at the same time.

@proud seal certain gods have duo boons, meaning if you have certain specific prerequisite boons, you can get a special paired boon that has a neat synergistic effect

to get a duo boon you need a tier one from each god, usually one of the attack/special/dash boons and one tier two (boons that buff that gods special aspect e.g. the boon that makes zeus lightning apply jolted)
and also sometimes you need a certain other boon, like for Artemis/Ares Hunting Blades you can't get it unless you have the Ares blade rift cast

@sweet badge lets say for example you only use sword. Every first clear of each floors boss will reward you with their "bounty". Once you FULLY clear the floor, increase heat lv by 1. this will fully reset your weapons rewards for next tier

I just got my first couple of clears and was thinking about trying out Hell Mode, but I have no idea what that does exactly. Can anyone explain it?

it basically gives you 5 forced heat conditions, including one exclusive to hell mode, and also you're forced to up the heat with a weapon if you clear a run with it
the exclusive heat condition is personal liability, making so that the shield that occurs when you take massive damage doesn't appear anymore
among the forced conditions is budget cuts, so if you like using all of your mirror i wouldn't recommend it

So she has a pretty simple attack pattern for the most part, if you see her charging up (Flying in the air with her whip) try and position your self so that you are in-between her and a close wall, then once she has done the whip attack (The long range stun) she will almost always dash to where you are. That's why you want to be close to a wall when she dashes she will be in melee rang to attack.
Another one of her attacks is two dashes followed by a flurry of whips, this is when you usually want to use your casts or long range abilities to try and inflict status effects. Mostly just dodge it and hit her from afar because she stays in one place.
The most dangerous of her attacks is when she sits still and fires off waved of slow projectiles. If you are standing on top of her when she does it you will get hit by all of them and they do 4 damage each (Without heat modifier) The best bet on this on is staying the furthest you can away while still being in auto attack range and trying to hit her and the projectiles at the same time. If you don't have a fast attacking weapon with a larger sweep (Like the stygian with world splitter) Then just stay away and dodge that part.
Lastly once she hits 25% she will summon circles on the ground in lines, when she is doing this she stays still so you can attack her from afar and once she is done with that she will stay still for a short time allowing you to attack.
All in all this fight is a lot easier if you have a call from Ares, Poseidon, or Athena which I would highly recommend getting for any melee run.

It's alliterative and iambic: After emphasis on the first word every second syllable is stressed. I thought it mellifluous initially but it took several hearings before I realized why.
