Took me a few tries to beat Meg at first too, although it was back when the game came out, so I have no idea if it's now easier or harder to do it. I do know that Price from Stumpt, who picked up the game on Monday, got to the last area on his fourth try. I was pretty impressed.

what's a good build for the blade
Here's a couple:
Hunter's Dash (Artemis) and Double Edge (Hammer). For extra fun, use Heartbreak Strike (Aphrodite) Any Aspect works, Nemesis will max your attack damage.
Blight Strike (Dionysus) Heartbreak Flourish (Aphrodite) and Double Edge (Hammer). Really easy to apply max poison very fast, also leads into Low Tolerance
Artemis Cast, Exit Wounds, Poseidon Aspect. Its great. Any cast that sticks into an enemy will work well with this though. (Athena Zeus Poseidon or Artemis)
World Splitter (Hammer) and either Heartbreak Strike (Aphrodite) or Deadly Strike (Artemis) + Heartbreak Flourish (Aphrodite) The former is just high damage, the latter is good crits which can build into Heart Rend for even more crit damage. Recommend Nemesis Aspect for this one.
Flurry Blade (Hammer) and Lightning Strike (Zeus). Lots and lots of fast AoE damage. Suffers against bosses though, so needs a strong special option.
Oh I forgot one of my favorites
The "Merciful End" build:
Athena's Dash, Ares Special or attack, Merciful End (their duo)

World Splitter and Nemesis work very well together, especially with Heartbreak or Divine Strike. It's very high risk but very high reward, especially if you can also get Heart Rend, Exposed, and start landing backstabs.

chaos for shield isn't too bad when you get some levels into it and the boon that allows it to hit at least 6 before coming back and then explodes when you catch it. only issue is you are completely wide open while is flying around captain american style
