I can't talk in feedback for some reason so I'll say it here. The design of the new area needs some rethinking. Tiny rooms + quick enemies = I take damage before I even manage to press a button. Or sometimes, lasers fill the entire room (no exaggeration). I understand you want the final area to be difficult, but there's epic difficult and unfair difficult and the tiny rooms fall under the second category. It feels just stupid and discouraging to get this far and be killed in a way that seems unfair to me

I feel like there should be a toggle to reenable narrator voicelines that you already heard once. Sometimes I play with sound muted and missing a quip from the narrator is annoying. A toggle that makes those little sparkling places that play a voiceline respawn would be amazing.

Channel descriptions are usually extremely self explanatory. If something is called gameplay-discussions you go there to discuss gameplay. Not all that many servers I visited lock public channels at all, and those that do have the unlocks always in an #readme-first type channel. This is genuinly the first time I have seen an unlock in a Pin. Also half of all servers I am on are made by friends so they just tell me what is what.

Don't want to bother this in tech support. I am using a switch controller hooked up to my computer. I only use it during hades (since the steam controller doesn't play nice with the epic games store). The switch controller will ocassionally just drop out and stop functioning. Is this a Hades problem, or a windows problem? Anyone else experience weirdness with a switch pro hooked up to their PC?

It seems that difficulty balance is still broken and the last biome is even more broken
E.g. rats attack immediately after I enter the room and deal 50 damage, maybe at least a bit breath of air after entering rooms?
Last boss just shreds my hpbar like seeds, I didn't even have time to understand what he does

Also why making hydra projectiles faster when that's not a problem but the boss concept itself is a problem - it's fat, repetitive and monotonous

@fiery skiff So far getting good boon combos seems key to the last boss. It's hard to figure out his attacks when they do 50 damage a hit. Not much room for exploration or error. I still don't know what I'm supposed to do with the urns that spawn the green hands. The skulls seem hit or miss to dodge as well.

Vengeful Mood im not sure on. I was only able to generate it with an effect from both and then a revenge effect, but I couldn't tell if it was any revenge effect needed or a revenge effect from those 2 specifically. It does work with all revenge effects though.

just played the new patch, fantastic! only problems is i thought the last rooms in the last biome gave very little time to react before enemies attacked, and sometimes with the rooms being so small the background pillars/walls could block too much of the room and also blocked view of poison on the floor. You need to rush through around 35 rooms, did not checked that. That was 40 before patch where there was no Styx, but it's shorter now
It took me 61 rooms to complete run, although I cleared all rooms in Styx what isn't always required

this new enemy in ||elysium|| is incredibly annoying
it has exactly the same problems as the early version of the bomb enemy back in tartarus, it makes a million annoying things and takes forever to kill
wretched pest, thats the one im talking about in tartarus
but this new enemy has just about a million health WITHOUT even having armor
and it spews out a million little butterflies that hampers you so much that you kinda have to kill them immediately
but its not possible to kill them immediately, you cant get close because of the butterflies so you just have to spam your cast and wait for it to come back pretty much
at least thats the case as long as you have the sword, ranged weapons might be better to deal with those

I always found the sword special to be pretty good. Both the Daedalus hammer upgrades are each 100% and 50% more damage. No funny business. Works really well with the big % damage special boons obviously.
It's super boring, but it's good!

Outside of spamming the sword special and using the dash attack, I never managed to do well with the sword

For me timing always felt very weird, both charge up and recovery time, it really breaks the flow

Yeah you can only do it once every 2 dashes kinda? It is a little weird how the recovery on it doesn't get reset by anything (I think)

I wonder what % speed buff you'd need to get from Hermes to let you just repeatedly dash special. I assume that's how his boon works for the sword special
