She is not that hard

dodge well and youll be fine with any weapon

there are many good builds right now, so suit yourself

@waxen needle Slow and steady wins the race. It helps to lead her to the corners of the arena so you don't pull too many adds. Punish her after she dashes (try and go for backstabs). Dashing is your friend, dash in, punish, dash out. Her projectile spam is easier to dodge the further you get out.

You can get some free hits on her when shes close to half health, she will retreat to the center of the arena and summon a bunch of adds, you can get some free hits on her while she runs away.

She is pretty painful if you get too aggressive.

Nice thing is she has a rhythm. The more you fight her the more used to her tricks you become.

After some practice you will win her most of the time. Fights with her become like friendly sparring

(and if you talk with her enough they ARE just friendly sparring)

Naw, thats preference.

Oh, I see. A lot of it is preference. There are certainly some abilities that are objectively more effective than others, but you can do fine by matching the boons and upgrades you choose to your play style

So the only "wrong" build is one where you choose things for abilities or situations that you don't use in the first place

Aegis I used a mostly tanky build for, Aphrodite and Athena are two important ones to stack with the weapon upgrade that resists damage

there's also the boon that causes enemies to have lower defense while weakened so there is also that

but I mostly just dash strike to increase DPS

i hate how most daedelus upgrades for the shield are mostly for throwing the shield but the shield throw is like so little dps

at least the ones i keep getting effect the throw

I almost won against Hydra with a shield throw build, it's a shame that rebounding attacks only hit the boss once... :/

but I believe the highest amount of damage I got on that thing against a trash mob would be about 1.1k

I beat him with Choronact (the bow). Hunter's Dash or whatever its called (artemis boon that gives crits after dashing) is extremely good
