All the weapons (yes, including bow) are so fast at that’s pretty easy to stay mobile and safe while in melee

And being in melee allows you to abuse great damaging dashes (tidal dash, sometimes maybe blade dash) for damage

and the ranged weapons have hammers that really encourage melee combat like half the good bow hammers (twin shot, triple shot, point blank shot, explosive shot) all encourage you to play a bit more close range where rail has rocket bomb -> cluster bomb for a 400 base damage shotgun or spreadfire or lucifer’s whole playstyle

just dont grab the 3 attack combo hammer for fists

There's a little path between the Hades arena and persephone's Lodge that has a few lakes that you can fish from

there is one thats sort of similar to that demeter boon that increases rarity tho, benthic bloom i think, after every stage all items go to a random item of the next rarity, so like a LOT more rng based bc your build is like gone with bad luck

I got it after I reached the credits of Hades 1 (I never reached the epilogue xd). I took it a lot more serious than Hades 1 xd It's a lot harder, which is probably why I find the hades 1 combat so easy now

There's just so many moves, and combat mechanics in Hades 2 that are very overwhelming for sure, take some using to if you switch from Hades 1

The weapons are so much better too, in Hades 1, it feels like there is lowkey a tier list

In Hades 2, every weapon is hella good as long as you build it well

And they're all so versatile

Talking about buttons though, I had to switch the special and cast buttons immediately when I started Hades 1 cos they are switched in Hades 2 and I was so confused

In hades 1 i remapped my controls to attack with r1 and special with l1 it feels much comfortable for me

In pc, in Hades 1, the special is the Q key and the cast is right click. While in Hades 2 it is the opposite. I was so used to it that I had completely forgotten it was switched in Hades 1 and I was so confused in my first run, had to switch it immediately
