When you beat all bosses with a weapon you can no longer get their resources with that weapon, by raising the heat to the level it asks you to, you refresh the resources

Then you beat dad again at heat 1, now the game asks for heat 2 and so on until heat 20

But, you have to beat dad at the new level, you cannot claim meg's titan blood at heat 1 then skip to heat 2 for more for example

If you swap to a weapon that you haven't escaped with the pact will tell you which bounties you are missing with that weapon

If you’re trying to get mileage out of talos fists you’re better off making a cast builds like hunting blades or lightning phalanx

then you can actually use the debuff the aspect gives you

since nothing about the aspect really makes your special a good damage option

I mentioned it because as opposed to talos where your special buffs your strikes and casts (and doesn’t really do anything specifically for making your special do more damage to make you want to specifically build for the special)

Aspect of demeter adds a load more hits to your special after you strike 12 times

which really pops off

ofc it’s more of a side-chunk of damage aside from your regular striking dps but at least it gives you enough base damage on your special for “building” around it (more like just accomodating for it in your build) worth it

I think a majority of my darkness came naturally from high heat and speedrunning

cuz I actually had like a feasible goal aside from clock in for darkness

I got curious so I watched a top speedrun for the first time today. After that I tried to be actually fast in a run instead of taking all the time. In the end the clock stopped at 22 min. Could have been sth in 20s if I hadn't gone for two infernal chests.

Will probably try that again after I get a companion (I have a vague guess that it have sth to do with ambrosia, but I dont want to spoil myself).

I'm in a lvl 1 chiron bow run that I tried to build around demeter special (currently rare lvl 4 +170% dmg), but unfortunately got no other chill boons except for ice wine and demeter call. I've kind of pivoted to a aphro attack (rare lvl 3) + flurry shot with some weak boons (+duration and +dmg). Currently in styx and I'm being offered to exchange my special for heroic dio. should I take it?

yes. Aphro is typically more consistent dps due to her massive +% special, and it means you apply weaken with your strikes instead of relying on your special hittin

You’re more reliant on chaos additive and global damage sources like rush delivery using arte strike for nemesis

there isnt an exact max, but over 2000 runs or so your save can be in danger of not being able to save runs correctly etc

highest i went before doing a save reset (done via the src mod pack) was like 2100 and was fine
