Idk ive used them at their default and their movesets are terrible imo, sword feels the worst due to hoe close you gotta get with it. Shield is...lets not mention that one. The boxing gloves are fine, more of a meme weapon imo and the bow is unusable

I think for the boss it’s like, get the bull first

Greatshields: bait attack and dash through them and hit their backs
Flamewheels (small chariots) lead them into walls so they explode themselves or have enough range to burst them before they aggro
Big chariots, lead into walls until they stop so you can hit them, if unarmored you can stunlock them without them getting an attack off

Sword/spears mind the jumpy attacks and don't walk infront of them,
Bows: pay attention to the target in you for when they are about to fire

Witches deflect them with athena or hit the projectile/dash through it

In general elysium is a build check

And for butterfly miniboss even more, or juggling skills between the boss and the spawns/getting an armor shredding hammer

the only reason one can justify distant memory is to level it up for the "all keepsakes maxxed" achievement. every weapon (and aspect, in general) is best played at close-range (though it's also more difficult in some cases)

I use fists, and love using ME with it.
Anywho, get ares on special or attack. I recommend special.
Game plan is simple: you see Athena, YOU TAKE ATHENA. Get her attack first, then grab her dash. If at ANY point you are offered ME, TAKE IT. Otherwise, grab impending doom, a decent call and maybe pressure points.

Spend it on a weapon aspect, test it on skelly, go to main menu and it won’t save that u spent the titan blood as long as u didn’t leave the chamber with skelly
If u leave a chamber everything u did in that chamber is saved, if u log off without leaving a chamber nothing is saved

Nemesis, hera and zeus shield all get their primary functionality at level 1, and successive levels just boost it a bit more, so a single level in them will get you a really solid aspect for those weapons.
For other weapons, I’d recommend achilles, demeter, eris and hestia, but they really like having blood invested in them for their effects to really start popping off

so like, some of the stronger ones are tooth, acorn and hourglass

I, feeling like a dumbass after watching a video, realized you CAN remap buttons. So if the reload does feel a little finicky try slotting the reload button to LB and the Codex to RS [Right Stick]. That might help make it less clunky.

okay, optimal spear takes zeus attack and then zeus secondaries, then best hammer in slot is flurry jab with serrated point in second with your second hammer preferences being extending jab, triple jab
