It’s not exactly a predominant build on any weapons but you can certainly build it well if you’re aiming for like dionysus strike on fists or dio special on chiron atm

Typically you also want aphrodite in there for low tolerance and then to pom the hell out of your hangover source

compared to the like 37.5% boost from curse of nausea

If you’re using dio call (the best hangover source) on the other hand, curse of nausea is superior

Artemis would be fully loaded, her legendary, and take up a bunch of notches. (Increase the amount of spells you can use drastically and can increase casting time)

It’s fun, and the difficulty is just as hard as you want it to be tbh

Of course it starts off rough because you’re learning the game but

Once you get an escape, you unlock a ton of difficulty modifiers that will let you set the difficulty to pretty much whatever you want

I’d say taking an hour irl time for your first few clears is probably around the right ballpark if highballing it, and then as you get better it gets down to 30 minutes irl time per run

but you can easily exit the game mid run and come back to the same run later

How does filling the god pool supposedly increase my chances of seeing the god I actually want?

Its something i sometimes hear in Haelian's videos

I understand the filling the god pool part (4 gods per run, not including hermes or Charon random sack) but I dont understand how it helps?
Am I just misunderstanding something?

Is it cuz the game is constantly trying to throw new gods my way if I dont fill the god pool?

The game will constantly offer you gods NOT in your pool if it’s not full. Consequently, you have a less chance of getting stuff IN your pool.

Consider:

• if you've picked up boons from 4 different gods or more (non-hermes non-chaos), the game stops offering you new gods.
• There are ways of extending the godpool, either by forcing a god using a keepsake, or (while at three gods in the pool) buying a boon from a shop followed by another god who you've not met yet, or seeing multiple gods you'd not seen before during the run appear all at once as styx chamber (or shop) rewards.
• there are 8 main boongiver-gods in hades. Filling the godpool reduces this amount to howevermany gods are in the pool. Every eligible god has equal chance of appearing, thus the odds of seeing the god you want are ⅛ before filling the pool and 1/n afterwards where n is the pool-size (assuming the god in question was not forced using a keepsake).

most braindead sword high heat strat is probably arthur, with an athena or aphrodite attack. divine dash helps too. get an invulnerability call at some point to press in the event you get greedy on an extra attack and would have gotten punished for it.

else you can always play nemesis, and build that as normal (using poseidon dash start probably)

The gun isn't strong, but it fires fast. That means you'll want to use flat damage that can be rapidly applied, such as Zeus's chain lightning or Dionysus's hangover

You can also lean into the bomb and it ignores shields in Elysium which is nice

For the gauntlets, you can chain the dash special from the gauntlets into another special for better burst damage

To add on, you mainly want static discharge from Zeus and put poms on that. Hangover is a bit sus, wouldn't recommend it to newer players. Just stick to Zeus attack and static discharge. A strong % modifier on your special and that's basically it

I mean chiron even unupgraded can be very good, but generally you can just use the gauntlets, any aspect cause they kinda force you to be a bit more active. Wont teach you how to play the game but sure will teach your enemies how much getting hit by your fists hurts
