Rarely ever is DC2 an issue for me. I always kill enemies in like 2-3 presses of a button so it doesn't really matter. It could be because I'm genuinely not worried in the slightest about wasting time but that's just me

Also the difference between 1-shotting an enemy and 3-shotting it, is that the enemy could have time to get a hit off on you (if you don't finish it off right as it spawns)

For reference, the (modded) world record for hestia high heat is 60. The only pact conditions not enabled there are (unsurprisingly) RI4, and the two tiers of Damage Control.

Both dc and cp start snowballing with other heat options cuz they let enemies live longer, so you have to manage more enemies for a longer duration of time and it really just exponentiates the risk of rooms at higher heats

particularly on the slower aspects that can’t really handle having to throw down 2 extra hits

At least with Calisthenics Program you don't need to worry about your hit getting completely negated and any effects you might have applied getting ignored

CP is a lot less frustrating than DC even if they technically both make enemies live longer, imo

Hey guys, how many attempts did it take you to complete Hades 1 at 0 heat ?

I beat Hades in 27 attempts only using the sword on M&K (my friend told me to use controller but i was too many hours deep and changing input felt wrong lol) . Probably could have been less attempts if I took some of my other runs abit more seriously.

@royal bobcat Kind of an odd take about the game’s difficulty. While it can be hard, I know a lot of people who cleared within a few attempts from a fresh file, and resetting until they’ve unlocked more things takes some of the fun out of playing a difficult game for them. Of course a player who is genuinely struggling can focus on farming resources for a few runs, but it’s strange to recommend that to most/all new players.
Also, if you think Zeus attack on the fists is peak hades, you should try out some stronger builds.

zag fists aren't the only way to do it, it may not be the best, but it's faster than varatha and that's why I mentioned it, cause doing these over and over it can get boring so maybe do it faster.
I'm a Varatha user, all escape attempts are with varatha.

I know Eris with rocket launcher, larger blast and artemis special is the best for speedrunning, and zeus shield is the best for 64 heat, it's just fast IMO. I also saw Haelian do a 32 heat with zag gloves and lightning so that kinda boosts my opinion on a good speedy farming build.

Concerning your question, Hera is the best aspect for speed, Rama is the best aspect for heat, and Zagreus is just generally better than Chiron.
Zagreus gives a good boost to your strike, which is nice for bow’s best gameplan.
Chiron gives it’s bonus to your insanely slow special, which just isn’t that helpful. The special only beats the strike for dps in a very very niche scenario, and the special takes so long that it’s just dangerous to use.

There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.

Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.

A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish
