ok! I had a bit of a rough start (losing 2 death defiances before elysium), but I got a kiss of styx and managed to pull it out. I wanted to see if using tight deadlines would make me get through it quicker, and I got my fastest clear by 10 minutes (new record of 27, previous was 37) so I guess it did.

i get the feeling tight deadline ends up being free heat once you get used to it

yep, I ended up dying. I saw a chaos boon to boost my dash strike by 100% so I took it, thinking I could handle rooms without using my attack for a bit. Turns out I couldn't. Died to tight deadline because it took nearly 4 minutes per room to clear with unupgraded special and cast on bow

I've heard the conflicting advice of 'always choose hammers above anything else' and 'it is fine to skip hammers, you'll be offered them again later'. Which is true?

4 regular shop slots (2 low rarity 2 higher rarity), the 50:50 between anvil & hermes, & the 50:50 between diamond & titan blood right. So whether or not Hermes is there doesn’t really impact your getting 3 boons from the same regular olympian god(dess)

If you include the 50:50 from hermes it goes up to 1 in 1008 🫡

Otherwise they’re already in your god pool and you can’t do anything about it

I've been doing it since heat 1 to 5 and asterius never says a thing

every other npc is a god who can be forced in, or chaos who has a well item that’ll force him in and the odds work out that you’re uber likely to see at least one chaos chamber per run, which is the most you need anyways

LC4 is something you definitely need some practice with with SD prior to throwing yourself straight at 32 I think

it’s harder to adjust to LC4 if you’re throwing in all the other conditions at the same time

so just do it with a lower heat pact for a run or 3 then get going on 32 with the rest of the pact options
