this basically means farming nectar to give all characters for their keepsakes (+ bond for some), no longer using a god's keepsake once it's maxxed, if you wish to optimize run-count then that means never dying (to optimize how many resources one gets per run), incrementing heat by 1 after every run until one has enough ambrosia for epilogue (and one of the companions, most likely sisyphus' for the extra resources using it can drop), getting credits, getting epilogue, farming a heckton of darkness for the mirror, getting something close to a damageless run (probably implies unlocking and maxxing hestia at some point, that aspect just makes the task 3 times easier), and finally beating 16 heat (probably again using hestia).

This is more difficult to track because often the clears that won't result in a fast time get reset on the spot. If I had to guess how many people could have in their prime managed to clear nearly any run they encountered that'd likely be along the lines of 10 to 15. That includes nitrostarch, me, vorime, retr0, wieldofrost, sofpog, latt_millard, 185in, museus, poshboy, pantaloonybin.
Among these names, you may recognize some people who've cleared low%, as dragon correctly pointed out.

according to this guide it recommends taking EM over FE most of the time. I found FE1 to be free, the 20% faster attack is barely noticable but EMs can make the game harder.

FO2 is much of a habit-thing. It's off my default, and turning it on means changing that habit. If you ppay with FO2 on constantly, then you may feel the polar opposite about it, taking more hits when enemies are slower.

1. if you care for good storytelling and dialogue, yes. pieces of unique dialogue can occur into the hundreds or thousands of gameplay hours, and one keeps unlocking new ways to play the game for a while. Also, the main story continues far past one win.

2. if you care for smooth combat and perfecting your skills, yes. quite nearly every aspect has its own flow, and perfecting one's skills at even just one of them can be satisfying.

3. if you like achieving difficult feats, yes. imo, Hades has one of the highest skill-ceilings a game can have. one may consider trying to go fast, climbing difficulty-levels (heat) or doing various challenge-runs. the heat-system, while unbalanced at the high-end, is at least pretty fun before that point!

its one of those games that get better with repetition

think of it like Bayonetta or DMC or any hack and slash game. the first run is just an introduction and you only get to use the cool and fun stuff after you unlock the harder difficulties and unlock more skills

now in Hades you don't unlock new skills, but you will learn how to combine different boons and different weapons after you do many clears

There can only be three fake bobs, so the fourth bob is always real if the first three were fake. Fake bobs have an interval of 2-5 seconds while the real bob has an interval of 1-2 seconds. So if it takes more than 2 seconds, it should be a fake bob. Meaning you should look for the real bob within a short time after you start fishing or within a short time after a previous bob.

Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.

A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish

i only just swapped to pride from legacy for improved consistency over fun flashy duos/legendaries and i may switch back if i don’t get that same rush from having like 6 duos

i use persuasion because when i used authority i found i just straight up never used it because i didn’t know what to use it on

Tbh you don't need to go higher in heat, the bounties are nice but it's not that hard to just farm stuff once you get bored of playing the same 3 builds because you can't beat the game otherwise. I genuinely only went up to the max heat gotten from EM4 because the new boss fights were fun, but I saw pretty much all of the story in the game and had most aspects unlocked and tried for a bit and that's good enough for me
