I really should get to write the general tips for heroes in a more organized matter

[mint coral]

Heroes fight.

Start by targeting Asterius (the bull), he's the meat of the fight and dealing with Theseus's half phase is a lot easier once the bull is dead.

-Keep yourself behind pillars while fighting Asterius so Theseus can't poke you with the throws.

-Asterius attacks are easier dodged by dashing through them than away from him, as his attacks push him forward, the leap attack also leaves him vulnerable as he has to turn around every time.

-If you see Asterius kneel, go behind a pillar quickly because as soon as Theseus reaches him, he will throw him towards you.

-When Asterius does his bullrush attack towards you, go to a pillar/wall then at the last second, dash through him so he crashes (if in a panic, Theseus can also be used to stop the attack)

Once the bull is dead, how to deal with Theseus

-wait for him to fire off the spear, once he recovers it he takes a few steps back to recover and you can hit him on the retreat.

-the other option is go stand next to him, a white outline will appear indicating his spin attack, dash through him and while he recovers you are free to hit him, this also leaves you at the right distance for him to try the spin attack again, repeat until half health.

-during his phase change you have the biggest opportunity to deal dmg to him as he drops the shield, most gods effects can be dodged by just dashing back and forth through Theseus. (If you have saved a call during the fight, now is your time)

-once the call is over, go back to dodging spear throws/spin attacks until he's dead, just mind the extra AoE from the gods now.

Edit: https://youtu.be/tcPheYu3CZQ this is a video of me fighting them so you can understand more easily what I meant for each attack (and call iframes), this fight was done with fists/no divine dash so even having no range isn't an issue.

If you aren't clearing consistently, to my knowledge the 100 starting cash is considered meta. Just focus on getting more consistent at the game.

Tart midshop Hermes is great, tart midshop hammer can bring a build online early, so can the right second god in midshop

For golden touch to even come close to beating 100 gold you have to carry lots of gold which isn’t a good idea

Money spent now = more value the entire run

Especially if it ends up getting you a god you want in tartarus

the only real reason to ever save your obols is if you want the resource in styx, or want 3rd hermes badly

When using an aspect that isn’t super compatible with chaos attack/dstrike or special boons (which I’d argue zagfist isn’t, unless you’re really good at mixing in specials… and even then it’s not stellar), consider stuff like the boon rarity option, or money gain health gain

There's the spin you get when you flash once, the bigger spin you get once you flash twice, but if you like charge it up and let go right before you flash the first time you do a really tiny spin attack
