so the idea with lucifer is you just send them out and explode them as soon as possible for the huge damage, using your laser or a dash to do it

The only thing is, that special hammer only boosts the passive pulsing. Not the large explosions. Hence why I wouldn’t recommend it

to add on, most of the time rarity vs levels don't really matter. it matters for some boons, namely aphrodite attack and ares attack/special

so like if you start a run and you have common doom attack from ares, you're better off dying and resetting the seed for a better rarity ares

bc a lvl 7 common doom attack is the same as lvl 3 epic doom

aphrodite kinda falls in the same pit but the pom scaling of aphrodite is better than athena and demeter to the point where a level 4 common aphrodite passes level 4 rare athena/demeter

Aspect of Chiron carried me for a long time I think it has a pretty low skill floor to get pretty crazy results at low heat

I typically only play whichever weapon is getting the darkness bonus but Coronacht is still my most-used weapon thanks to it

I think just having good range with quick shot velocity makes Coronacht very safe, and Chiron removes any need to get up in enemies' faces for a round of special shots

But keep in mind that the game gets better and better the more you play and you'd only be seeing a small sliver of the content, gameplay concepts, etc. available

hey, I got a quick question. I'm playing with the shield rn and I have zeus on my special attack in rare and lvl 4. But unfortunately I didn't manage to get any other boons from zeus and I'm right behind theseus and the minotaur. Currently I have the option to exchange the zeus special with an epic athena special. Should I do this or is it because of the bolt damage from zeus not worth it?

Had a funny thought a while ago on the worst speedrun category imaginable: fresh file to EM4 win
Not only would it feature a really tough fight while underleveled, you'd also need to do whatever it takes to unlock the contractor and the upgrade to get EM4, and grind 100 gems to actually unlock it.

youd be surprised how imaginative some runners are
