So if they’re crucial to your build you’d rather have them in your god pool early than risk getting a full pool of 4 without them because you took the hammer

I have it in my list so it should be in progress. Nyx and achilles talk about a lot of other things and patroclus hasn't given me a "!" since a whole bunch of attempts. Anything I should do or prevent doing to speed up the process a bit in this prophecy?

I'm on my last 5 achievements. One is the prophecy, one the companion, 2 are the skelly prizes and then there's unlocking all weapon aspects so I'm getting close

Idk man as someone with around 10 40 Heat runs under my belt I will literally always take Divine Dash over pretty much everything. Unless the build really requires a specific dash to create a broken interaction, Divine Dash is good with every build, every weapon, and is simply incredible. I agree with the top post of this comment chain that 8.5 is a little weird for easily the best Dash in the game.

Also you don’t solely focus on your cast for a cast build because you need to take zeus somewhere else for lightning phalanx (preferably strike), or artemis somewhere for hunting blades (preferably strike)

so you have 2 ways of scaling because you can get more zeus boons and hit static discharge splitting bolt idk put aphrodite on special and zeus on call for smouldering air to expand your damage options while you’re cooking up lightning phalanx

or artemis you can grab pressure points and hunters mark to allow your massive amount of hits from blades to start a crit chain

take tidal dash from poseidon for both more damage and openning mirage shot (with artemis) for a second cast with 30% damage (effectively 1.3* cast damage and potential crit proks for hunters mark) on every cast

You have a lot of options to build out from your cast while still having an uber relevant hard hitting cast

Can anyone comment on the grind to 32 heat? I have cleared 16 heat on my best aspect but generally low teens feels hard. I assume it's just an insane grind of hundreds of failed runs to get to 32? Havent tried higher than 16

Not really, 32 is pretty lenient, most of it is just optimizing your mirror pact and build theres some guides in the pins of #h1-high-heat-strategies

It’s not any sort of insane grind, it should become a lot more manageable if you’re using a good pact, have a good mirror for that pact/build, and run a good build

I'm new-ish and currently only have one reroll, what do you usually save a reroll for? Just right away when you want something that better suits your build or save it for trying to get a legendary/duo or...something else?

If its essential to your build you reroll for it pretty much, sometimes you want to wait to reroll for when youve gotten rarity increases from nectar/yarn/god keepsake or filled your cores so you have a better chance of getting what you want

You’re likely enough to get duos/legendaries as it stands without it and god’s pride does a ton more

I beat the game very early in my playthrough, so I got (spoiler's) keepsake very early

and I used it for every run because it's amazing

so none of my other keepsakes are leveled really

I've beaten 32 heat and finished the bounties on every weapon

so at this point I just want to max out the keepsakes and be done with it

is there a good mod or way to file edit to make that happen?

hey so i tried looking this up everywhere, but have found no concrete answer for it.
Currently in my run there are two door rewards options available, one of them for darkness and the other for a chtonic key.
Now both of them have skulls on them and are shining, and i am aware that it signifies that there will be elite foes in the room but also double the reward.
My question is, the key reward is not only glowing with a skull, but there are also sparkles coming out of it, does that signify something else other than the double reward? It is very distinctly different from the darkness one, which has no sparkles coming out of it.
