imo hades story isn't especially deep or groundbreaking, but it's very very well made. it's deeply human / humanist, good about representation of things you don't see in alot of mainstream media especially video games, it fits its medium perfectly. no good vs evil but believable characters with goals and histories and complex relationships to each other
