to multiple enemies

Athena's cast is actually one of the strongest by the numbers, and it also deflects. It's just it has a small AoE and no other status effect so usually it's not the best cast

once you make it bounce a few times though, I mean you spam your casts and every enemy in a small area is getting hit by every cast. Usually you're just insta-deleting whole groups at a time, or at least part of the group, pick up casts, repeat

the main thing is that the damage is very high, between Athena's high base damage and Achilles huge bonus. So this even works on things like the enemies in elysium

main downside I would say is you have nothing to make your stones drop faster so if you don't get that hermes boon, against bosses it's a relatively safe build since you can just burst and then play defensively, but it's not super fast

between the slower charge and the reduced range, I found it was actually way more risky to try to setup for shots from farther away.
