Aphro dio duo enables you to stack more hang over, using all 8 arrows. Makes the arti dio special even more effective if you open that one up. Ares curse of vengeance also opens up a dio duo that make a hangover hit more often. You can basically do the ultimate hangover build with Chiron.
It's hard to get everything and less satisfying to use than I thought it'd be but getting max value from 4 duos (if you also get heart rend) is pretty cool. š» special can eat all your poms. Maybe one for aphro attack

There's a lot of mixed opinions on Guan Yu, some think it's good, others think it's awful; it has very strong upsides but very severe downsides
You're better off just trying it for yourself and deciding how you like it

i think what annoys me with the spear generally (like I guess a good number of people) is that the charge up attack I really don't enjoy, and that feels like a move you're "supposed" to use in 2/4 spear aspects (hades most of course, but also Guan Yu)

I mean I get that GY is more efficient to play with, barely using that attack. I just mean "supposed" in the sense that the aspect does something special with that move, obviously when it was designed they were envisioning people using it, and it being part of the variety of the aspect.
I think spear might be my least favorite weapon largely for this reason. Sword is probably second least, but at least arthur is pretty interesting, poseidon has one gimmick but okay it's a decent gimmick. Nemesis I don't love but it has a nice synergy with artemis stuff.

Surprisingly, not the worst hammer upgrade? Your first charged shot does not suffer from the lowered attack radius or base damage change, but every other attack does, like normal. Definitely should not be your first pick, but if you are a little short on damage with respect to enemy health breakpoints and need to quickly clear something in your face, you can spray a clip to finish off a foe or two with reasonable reliability.

Lightning and lightning phalanx will also often not lodge. I don't think it's a universal rule and bosses and even mini bosses are obvious exceptions. Even when your casts are lodged, you have a +150% attack to hit the remainder.
