and Fated Authority reroll always roll a boon into another boon.

When you go up in heat you’ll have to mix a bunch of pacts together. A lot of newer players tend to pivot towards tougher pacts and miss some strats, although some stuff is not very intuitive, so that guide is a good place to start so you get used to the good pacts that are whats considered the fundamentals of high heat and you avoid the bad pacts that hurt your runs a lot more than they appear to be doing.

Yeah that's exactly what I meant. I couldnt beat heat 5 on like any weapon when I started. I got lucky with some amazing boons and escaped my first ever time with rail! Then couldnt win anymore. Then I swapped to shield, kept losing but made progress and eventually beat each attempt up to heat 11 then swapped to bow and was like "wow this is so much more fun now that I'm not getting constantly destroyed!"

Persuasion lets you reroll a boon that's buffed with Refreshing Nectar or Yarn of Ariadne + god keepsake (both of which increase Duo Boon odds).

You don't have to build around the initial attack with Hestia, have had plenty of successful Hestia runs with Dio/Zeus.
