Some games are really expensive (like the recent Metroid Dread, or BotW that refuses to go on bigger sale), but there are plenty of reasonably priced ones. The advantage of Switch is that it's handheld, making it perfect for travel or just to pick up a quick game when chilling at home on the couch. And you can also plug it to to the TV if you want, making it quite versatile console.
