But, nonetheless, I had a blast. We went home at about 4AM, enough to take a quick nap and get dressed for our flight home.

Flying with tinnitus is definitely an experience I do not recommend. Went home, ate something and crash landed in bed until the next day.

So I finished H2's main task today.

Thinking that H3 is an inevitability cause:

A. H1 & H2 are so amazing why would stop there? But more importantly

B. A BIG trilogy ending is what a franchise like this deserves.

My thought is that Zagreus and Melinoe team up in the final chapter with a new "tag team" single player mechanic and a 2-player co-op mode.

And in keeping with the curent theme of generational drama, revenge, and misguided sense of pride/entitlement we get Uranus (Chronos' Father) as the final antagonist. And our Sibling Heroes will need to "Move Heaven and Earth" in order to complete their task (if you know what I mean 😜).

Just a thought that I wanted to put out there. If it tickles the fancy of a Super Giant Designer, all the better 😜. If not, oh well, lol.

well that would be a good idea except we have a section of the government in the USA called the IRS, the Internal Revenue Service.

And you do NOT want to mess with the IRS.

Or even have them contact you about anything.

we have that too, there are laws about how much you can earn by selling personal belongings (which the computers usually classify as)
its also kinda impossible for the irs to noticed you have 100$ extra every month in cash if youre literally just using it for consumption stuff, like going to a restaurant or something

im curious about something for the cloud saves so if you have it on you save normally and it updates it to cloud and on steam deck you go offline because you're in an area without internet availability right? so once you go back to the internet it updates and everything's alright? :o

If you keep separate saves, id suggest disabling Steam Cloud on one device, to prevent it syncing
That'll mean youll need to manually backup your saves on that device, etc

And if you do attempt to sync with different levels of progression, you'll be warned about conflicting files and given an option to resolve.

hello people! I've been looking at the system requirements for Hades 2 and wondering how rough they actually are - some games that say "minimum 8gb ram, recommended 16gb ram" run perfectly fine on my 8gb ram laptop, some do not

would anyone be able to tell me how demanding Hades 2 actually is, when it comes to hardware?

I've seen some reviews that mention that the game runs fine even on older machines

These discrepancies come from the fact that RAM consumption depends on a lot of factors, and there's always swap file on your hard drive/ssd, which is used as a sort of a slow extension of RAM when it gets full. In general it's hard to predict how any given system will behave, but if you have a decent enough CPU and don't have many apps running in the background, you should be fine.

Also 8 and 16 are just common denominators that are widely sold as single sticks or sets. Technically game might need, say, 9 gigs of RAM on the system to run perfectly well, but there's no point in putting that number into system requirements since only scrapyard maniac builds can have exactly 9 gigs, and people like it when they see a familiar number, e.g. "oh, this game says 16, my PC says 16, i'm good"

People who use services like Alexa as their alarm clocks have just had a helpful reminder that using a device reliant on connectivity to carry out a task that doesn't need connectivity is not a good idea.
