Whenever I think I'm getting the hang of Unrivaled Chronos I just look at my damage lol. I did it, though

Try Moros! The typical gameplay loop is to get your Omega special up and then attack until you need to put it back up. Hera is an amazing pick for the special (though Zeus will also work great) and for attack you can go something like % (apollo for the big blasts) or my favorite flat damage option, Poseidon (as the splashes will hit once when the initial shot hits enemies, and then once again on explosion)

Mel torches are a bit safer than Moros, as you can stay at range with attacks, but Moros can kill WAY faster

50 Fear! Moros Fear PB, insane carry job from Conservation + Abundance + Panacea Moon Water. An Ephyra sideroom Hermes Shrine into expedited Path of Stars let me go to Polyphemus with 9 Moon Waters, and i had enough damage to win the run because moros and zeus are gross. Poseidon attack is surprisingly strong on Moros, I think the wave also triggers on the moros explosion.

Very greedy Hecate keepsake pick into typhon, was fishing for Fine Lines and didn't want to prime out. The build probably just needed better safety/consistency so droplet would have been a better choice, fine line fishing was evidently win more in this scenario.

This is my first win and attempt at 50F moros after a 2 month hiatus, so I'm overall proud of the run, but my macro could have been better. I'm always impressed and amused by how long Moon Water can abuse the Tight Deadline timer, nearly 100 seconds (500 damage) here.

I wouldn't recommend Unseen at lower fear necessarily, but for high fear Eos specifically it's actually really good 👀 enough magick regen for your entire run, and boons are scarse with forfeit and denial on. ends up being abt equal to boatman in value for Eos specifically. grab boatman or excellence for lower fear stuff prob.
also wayward son is good if you aren't using max scars

Hel for fear is p safe and solid once it's online, but if you want to play fate's whim there's a lot of rerolling... it feels glacial until you get a boon on it, which means high fear erebus is rough

my 3rd 50F surface clear, this one w Anubis on my first try using Fates Whim + Judgement. Small timer troubles against prom but the random Athena DD tanked it. Also got to rarify reckless abandon to heroic which felt fun. Fates Whim Judgement highrolls give so much value (time piece opens up shops through Debt, Pommed boons are just strong, you sometimes don't even need a real build), i'm gonna try it out more and not rely as much on god keepsakes

I was going for the achievement of still having an Arachne dress upon reaching the final confrontation, and far surpassed my own expectations.

I had 188 armor, still of the Arachne dress.

Gale helped save a lot of hits.

Arachne's keepsake, the silken sash, gave 30 armor and +2 per location, which built up some. But then I switched to Hephastus keepsake and got a boon of +100 armor, iirc. But it turns out I didn't even need that.

My final aspect for 32F wins on all aspects above and below, got tired of forcing hera fine lines so i threw on fates whim + judgement and let the build play itself. little too close for comfort but whatever. I equipped moon beam in fields and was never offered path of stars so that was funny. I don't think i even had a single level on the hex, big ups to me on almost completely ignoring the aspect for the final clear besides rotating omega moves.

My fear choices were max rivals, timer, menace, fangs, and shadow as a baseline 28F, with max hubris for non-magick aspects and max wards for fast-hitting aspects. I'd mix it up for any remaining fear. for almost all of this i'd use god keepsakes in the first 2 regions to lock in a certain build, but im thinking fates whim judgement would also suffice. time piece in region 2 keeps shop boons on the table for the rest of the run even with max debt, and jeweled pom makes starting boons strong enough to cobble together a sufficient "build," if not getting outright lucky on gods to begin with

(I tried to ""play safe"" because I was like "oh the map RNG was so good, I better not eat dirt on Chronos for no reason", but in retrospect, that was Worse)

And now, I am free from axes forever because aint no way I'm bothering with the other three

i think the limit is technically infinite but i didnt feel like farming out minibosses or final phase scylla for infinite ads lol

tbh that was pretty fun to do i might try to do this with both attacks and specials and maybe try to hit a million 👀

Scuffed Erebus, spent all 4 DDs bc 45 seconds past deadline, but the endgame was nasty with power surge + mirrored thrasher + zeus attack blitz, also aphro on my doubled specials. last gasp was a funny compensation for my earlier struggles. Interesting Jeweled Pom interaction, since tough gain doesnt have level scaling, sacrificing it means the new boon will also start at level 1

Mel staff 40F underworld FW + Judgement. Used up the hammer luck in the circe run but it definitely needed the help more than this one. This run was mediocre and boring but a win. pretty awful damage, but nexus rush made room clear quick enough that i could still take my time against bosses and play more safely without timer concerns. main takeaway was learning cerb and chronos telegraphs/timings for damage, gonna be useful on inevitable low boss damage runs like this
