Also of note, yes this was on low fear but it was odd, when having all four tiers of rivals the rest of the game felt harder too, like I was getting worse boons, harder rooms and there are times I've lost a DD to Scylla and Charybdis. I even had a few boons before I purged to get an unlock.
wow I have been sleeping on the aspect of Moros for the torches, do the omega special and then throw attacks out, I kept trying to do it in reverse for some reason, but now it finally clicked for me.

Look, I got a run title. I managed to save my dress from ||Arachnie|| it was the one that only gave 5 armor too, but a % increase to damage.

I didn't know runs got titles sometimes. What? Is this like a hidden achievement?

The build: Sword Ring + Meat Grinder + Prominence Flare + Glorious Disaster for the cast, Heavenly Strike + Static Shock + Arc Flash + Air Quality for attack, and Sworn Flourish for special. Grisly Gain also works surprisingly well with how many hits Supay outputs. Everything except Prometheus melted.

technically not a victory run but just wanted to post it here as a reminder you can still get pounded even with a lot of epic boon, 8% global crit, 3 legendary open, 2 infusion boon requisite fulfilled (Hermes and Zeus), 3 hammers, godsent, and selene call time dilation abuse that works both ways for you to deal dmg and enemy on you (which in this case Hercules spin doing 7x consecutive sequential dmg)

i think i finally landed on my fave build for it though.
i think it takes advantage of the fact that you get 2 sources of damage all used at once
you can even flex around which slot has which (except for the dash being locked in) and its not hard to hit at least some of the dues each run with the enhanced duo chance arcana and so many good ones to hit that can all work on their own.

The idea of this is build is to be basically immortal by hitting your own summons

because nergal actual does count hits even to your summons

but it looks like there is bug currently with some enemies that they cant damage typhon

you've got a lot of really time consuming endurance vows on, I'd drop a bunch of those - hordes, return and wards - and take pain, denial and kick timer up to 3

denial and time 3 let you drop hordes, return and wards entirely by themselves and I would personally suggest dropping some points in grit/scars/debt for pain 2, if not 3

more fragile, more damaging enemies are generally safer than less damaging, tankier enemies

and pain is worth 2 fear per point for pain 2 and 3

This was one of the weirdest runs ever. I agree with everything said about Shiva. It wants to be the Aspect of Eris without any of Eris's speed or flexibility if you don't have the right Icarus Hammer. I would also suggest reducing the cost of its Omega Special, even if that meant slightly reducing the length of Destructive stacks.

• new Shiva is...better...feels terrible to go for more than a level or two of Destructive though because bosses have a ton of phase shifts that cap out the damage you can actually do
• slightly faster attack on Coat is nice
• Gigaros Dash still kinda busted

Not the place to have discussions, but I actually find myself preferring this supay, not in terms of power but having 1, stronger orb to focus on hitting things with makes it feel more active if that makes sense

You also get more run variety from the moves being stronger since they scale better with percent damage boosts (you still prefer stuff like scorch and blitz and froth but you get better scaling with chaos and maybe hera's viable on the special now?)

I selected pretty chill vows overall, but okay, I do like the new Supay lol...
I still found the old one more fun, and Hidden Helix increases my enjoyment of the weapon a TON, but having normal specials (not even Ω specials!) do that much damage is fun and silly, I like the increase to base power. Making damage% boons more viable for Supay is nice, and I like the build variety it adds.

Yesterday I finally got my actual second win after an embarrassing amount of time. Especially compare to my second win in hades 1 and my first streak.

I tried to sorta replicate a build from the chaos trials but Zeus like in Hades 1 likes to be absent when I really need him I wanted the thing that proc blitz right away with the omega but I just couldnt have it. So I took Hera boon that prime magicka as a gamble before chronos and it managed to save my dps on a boss

Love the new Persephone! Just got Heroic Heph Level 5 on the first room. 2 sec cooldown right off the bat. Was a crazy run for Blasts and Specials thanks to Chaos. Great run!

This is the most insane build I've ever gotten, it all synergizes so well

Anubis attack + omega attack (although they are basically one attack, which minimizes the time required) inflicts scorch 999 basically instantly, then I can just lay back and spam my heroic aphrodite omega special, and once I run out of mana - incandescent aura bursts the enemy for 2k and born again restores all mana instantly.
