If i had gotten hearty appetite for my best run the damage increase would have been 120%!

Notable things about run: Rerolled A LOT to set up a situation in ephyra that allowed me to pom life affrimation via bridal glow. Further testing required but life affrimation was giving a WHOPPING 89% increase to my cent hearts. Had i focused much more on gathering said cent hearts im sure i could have cracked this easier with an early sea star. This will be my basis for the next run.

Sea star: Obtained in region 3 pois keepsake rarify from epic to heroic

i was abusing it to get free heroic attack/special in my chill 22f runs

and if i could find bridal glow right after first boon i was taking hermes boons/extended family/any umpommable boon

so that bridal glow could hit my attack/special with 100% chance

its really weird that bridal glow can even appear if u dont have pommable boons

imo its a bug not just because of ratios but also the fact bridal glow can be offered if u dont have pommable boons

I just finished a run with the Umbral Flames and I got Ice Strike (bonus % ice dmg), Support Fire (firing a seeking arrow after I hit with an attack or special), Static Shock (strikes emit chain lightning), Depth Charge (creating a water blast after dealing damage with an omega move), Extra dose (double strike chance), Clean Candle (omega attacks are channeled 50% faster and cost 1 mana less), Nimble Limbs (faster attack, special, and cast) Secret Crush (additional attack power), Power Surge (a surrounding foe is struck by lightning whenever I use mana), Heart Breaker (creating a heart throb whenever I use 40 mana), Fluid Gain (strikes may cause spirit bubbles to appear), Engagement Ring (casts inflict hitch), Dying Wish (dying hitch-afflicted foes damage other hitch-afflicted foes), Flash Fry (dying foes create a damaging blast), and the Origination arcana (50% dmg against foes with at least 2 curses). The synergy between the Umbral Flames' (omega) attack and the different effects that all trigger whenever I strike or use mana is insane! The Foes absolutely melted. I guess such a combo is rare, but beautiful. 🥹 Btw. what exactly counts as a strike? Is it just attacks and specials?

• hangover from dio.

For those who don't know about the Bridal Glow glitch in the game rn: this boon is currently capable of pomming unpommable boons . . . and this can lead to some pretty wacky builds. I was actually trying to go for a dash spam build but was struggling to get Stutter Step to show up. So I went for Winner's Circle, which lets you spam your cast so fast it's literally impossible to channel the omega (so I recommend running a cast with an instant effect rather than dps, like Ares in this case).

The setup for it is specific , as you need to have only unpommable boons in your inventory and hope it randomly hits the boon of your choice. The best way to do this is through the Surface using rerolls and Hera's keepsake to start. In the starting area, you have to take Extended Family since it's her only unpommable boon, but don't rarify it. Then, the 2nd door has to be a non-boon or the god w/ the boon you wish Bridal Glow to hit (like Hermes). If you took a non-boon, then use your first pylon to get that boon. Otherwise, use it for Hera and hope you get Bridal Glow to show. I recommend running Vow of Denial, so your first Hera offering will cross out two boons (likely core boons), making it more likely to show up. Then rarify it, hope the 50/50 hits your boon of choice and . . . voila! You can now figure out the reason this boon is unpommable!

Anyways, onto this build:

• Ares' Sword Ring, and augmented it with both duos. Hephaestus's is arguably more important, but Apollo still doubles the damage. This is also Olympian damage, so EF strengthened it. By the end I was dealing 1400 dmg a pop and could fill up on Glory in less than 2 seconds.
• Messanger made me invincible almost all the time
• Icarus offered Hazard Boom and it was so funny lol, literally could cover the whole arena in explosions
• Artic Gale and Glamour Gain for Origination (Tropical Cyclone was a bonus)
• Interestingly enough Mental Block seems to have a separate cooldown, wasn't triggering every cast

Nope, the channeling icon doesn't even show up! I'm guessing it's because it's negative. But the quick cast by itself can do a lot of work (maybe even more than some omega cast builds) which is why I recommend taking Ares, Poseidon (don't get geyser spout), or Hephaestus (maybe Apollo or Hera can work too but I imagine they don't scale well since no relevant duo or supplementary boons)

I believe w/ Rare Bridal Glow it adds 18% per boon giver, which means I had ELEVEN boon-givers:

1. Hera (used for 1st origination, later got All Together which can really synergize with EF)
2. Hephaestus (rarified his cast w/ phial since it seemed like good fit for Olympian damage and I alr had WC - I believe he was dealing around 450 per clang, more if it crit from Artemis/Raki or got doubled by Mutual Destruction)
3. Hermes (Common Winner's Circle and Epic Nimble Limbs)
4. Demeter (Was Going for Artic Gale but ended up w a Steady Growth that rarified itself twice, later used for 2nd origination)
5. Artemis (Pressure Points)
6. Hestia (Encountered in Thessaly, Took as Fourth God in Natural Pool)
7. Ares (Used Keepsake in Olympus to Get Rallying Cry, Also Got Mutual Destruction for x2 damage chance)
8. Athena (Encountered Naturally)
9. Poseidon (Infusion Boon Through All Together)
10. Zeus (Infusion Boon Through All Together)
11. Apollo (Used Keepsake in Summit)

The only Olympians I missed were Dionysus (HE skipped my party??? D:) and Aphrodite (I'm sorry my queen, pls don't curse me ;-;). I guess ||Hades ||too but he's only available on Underworld runs, so the total max is 13. 11/13 ain't bad, huh? But getting all 13 is definitely possible if you get luckier with All Together (two of my infusions were for gods I alr had), fill the god pool w/ 4 by the end of Epyhrea so you can just take god keepsakes every region (they should prob all be of different infusion boon elements), and get lucky with all the supplementary Olympians showing up (Artemis, Athena and Dionysus). Maybe one day someone will catch them all in a run . . . ? And the EF% per god is likely even higher if you use an epic or heroic Bridal Glow (I only used rare)
