What's people opinion on gamepad controls? Personally, I had a much better time rebinding cast to L2/ZL/LT

Even having to adapt to the change, being in the middle of my playthrough, wasn't that bad, since I was just almost never using cast on its original button

No idea which one actually triggers the Chaos Trials, but you must have one of them unfulfilled. I believe you need all Aspects unlocked and maybe have a completed run with all the "special ones" (Morrigan Daggers, Berserker Axe etc)." But I have no idea if that's the problem

The Unseen REALLY isn't worth it. 5 grasp is way too much for something a gain boon can do.

I do recommend Lovers over Wayward son for survivability. However, if you'd like you can take out Lovers and add in Wayward Son and Huntress.

And you definetly want to get the entire left column. They're all good cards and it activates Divinity

Here are all the gain boons:

• Aphrodite - Apply weak to nearby foes and regain mana when near foes. (Doesn't gain mana while channeling)
• Apollo - Gain mana every time your cast expires
• Ares - Striking foes has a chance of dropping plasma. Plasma gives you mana and raises attack + movement speed
• Demeter - Stand still for a little bit to start rapidly regaining mana
• Hephaestus - You take reduced damage each time you're hit and regain mana
• Hera - Whenever you run out of magic, prime some mana until the next location
• Hestia - Restore mana when hitting enemies with your attack/special
• Poseidon - For X amount of seconds, restore any mana used after using an omega move. There's a cooldown
• Zeus - An orb periodically appears in the arena that you can pick up for mana

Even if you don't clear before the timer goes off, it's a 10-second buffer window for a DD you would have burned anyways

The only real downside is that it completely bricks Strength if you don't have a late-game boon
