I just dont get how H2 is way more frustrating that H1... I pushed high heat in H1, but man H2 everything just feels like such BS. the VoR fights aren't really fun compared to H1. Weapon aspects in H2 just feel so bland and for some of them I really need a god run to actually do high heat. Like it really feels like I just need to get as much health and dmg just to faceroll everything.

I guess it’s just personal preference, but the simplicity of the aspects are what make them great. Take than axe for example, more you get them and they don’t hit you, the faster you swing.

Not quite. The attack speed bonus on Than axe is the same no matter what; the thing that you do build up, Mortality, is crit chance for omega moves (and it's capped at +20%)

tbh it feels kind of the opposite to me, hades 2 generally feels more polished and balanced. maybe there's a game mechanic you aren't utilizing enough, or the way Mel plays is less your style...? but I don't think it's a game design thing, and hard disagree on the aspects tbh, that's just personal preference but I can't think of many that feel bland to me (and can think of a few for h1)

You need to hold down the sprint key (channel it) until you are near an enemy, then release it. This does a big smack of damage in an area and also activates nightspawn.

I found this very annoying to do until I turned on autosprint, personally, but ofc your mileage may vary.

2 rooms ago in the ||post-ephyra room|| I bought a ||DD refill|| from a ||Hermes shrine||
I also swapped to ||athena's keepsake||
during this room I just did, ||athena showed up and hermes dropped off the DD refill at the same time||
it turns out ||if you take athena's DD refills, you can't pick up the one Hermes drops off if you bought one, and you can't use chrono's keepsake to recycle it back into some amount of gold||
so ||that's 336 gold on a 20 fear run down the drain ||

it probably works the same for flood gain (but I'd assume only for the first omega move of each flood window, if your magick is low from the downtime...? idk, maybe with fast enough channel speed it would happen more)

when you want a boost for AoE, you sprint to charge its unique omega move, then have to sprint into an enemy, which does damage and gives you a buff.
the buff will slowly tick down, visible on the circle near your HP and magick bars
the buff is kinda useless for single target, and you can skip it when needed in general, but it makes your room clear + AoE crazy good. prioritize on-hit effets like scorch/splash for nyx attack and special, blitz and hitch also great

and gemstones are purely used to trade for kudos, yeah. just for songs/decorations p much

Hi, I'm the person from the speedcord that was called in. You can kill yourself with Hazard Boom after killing typhon either before or after picking up the void lens and the game counts it as a victory.

During Early Access, I feedbacked this exact thing because H1 didn't let you do this with Hazard Bomb. If you do this before getting the ending, you can probably mess up the game's story progression, but I'm not sure exactly how it would mess up.

i have completed the ending although not the epilogue and for like 40 nights now odysseus has a heart lock, looking up on reddit and various steam forums i found that this is unlocked via getting the prophecy where i go with the knucklebones to each acquaintance he has in the game, the problem here is that this prophecy is not listed for me in the minor prophecy list, although when i went to circe she did comment on them and how hideous they are

so my question is, how do i progress odysseus after i have visited with the knucklebones to polyphemus once and so completed that prophecy but now im not getting any other prophecy for it

also the wiki seems to imply that this prophecy only triggers after i have 10 hearts with him, but that doesnt seem correct

if there is any more context needed, please ask, i am at my wits ends

The prophecy does require having 10 hearts with him, but it also requires having a particular conversation with him, and that conversation requires several other random conversations with him. Just keep playing the game and it should unlock soon enough.
