lucid gain can also eventually get outpaced on torches, altho it’s hard. but enough channel speed + magick cost increase and it will eventually start struggling

Also the biggest plus about born gain is that in fights you dont have to think about it at all, you can throw out whatever combos you need and not worry about doing things like collecting plasma or the ionic font or putting down cast or standing still etc

My assumption is that "target area" refers only to the area that actively has the target indicator on it, therefore not stacking (and generally not persisting outside of the existence of the active target area symbol). Other "after using your hex" upgrades don't stack based on multiple hex activations, after all. However, I haven't labbed it out, so I can't actually confirm.

(When I learned about the +5% damage per encounter thing not stacking per hex use, it was a very "fair enough but I am so sad" moment lol)

God keepsakes are the obvious method, but there's other ways you can make it happen. Until the game locks in your four, it will continue to offer random gods

You need to:

1. unlock ALL non-hidden aspects
2. max at least one NON-MELINOE aspect
3. speak to the appropriate character (look at the aspect names for clues)

Plenty of options for surface. Practice, Aphrodite's weak, practice, Heph's Tough Gain and/or armor boons, practice, Demeter's freeze, practice, dodge build, practice. After enough practice, Rivals 4, practice, then Frenzy 1 plus practice, perhaps also Frenzy 2 and some more practice.

Why Poseidon attack? For any melee weapons I always use Aphrodite, the damage boost is just beautiful. Poseidon is on of the one I actively avoid so is there something I’m missing here?

The aspect of Nyx causes your one main attack to split into two, smaller attacks that deal less damage (while nightspawn is active). This makes % boons like Apollo or Aphrodite not really worth it, but makes Poseidon much more viable, since the waves will trigger twice (essentially doubling the value)

-Nexus rush is the best gain along with blinding rush
-4 of her core boons apply a curse right out of the gate, amazing for orig

here’s a quick refresher: every time you hit with your attacks, you gain 2% crit chance for your Omega Attack and Omega Special to a maximum of 24(?)%, which the game calls mortality. When you get hit, it all resets. People prefer to veer towards the attacks rather than the Ospecial, since you’re already using attack to generate mortality
