cardio used to do literally nothing *on mel and moros torches since while channeling every attack was an omega attack
now the combo without channel speed is I believe 2 normal attacks into 1 omega, so the two normal attacks will restore more magick than the omega cost in the first place

return can be annoying but is very doable as well

at some point you'll need to take some non-free vows, and those may depend on your preferences a bit. wards is fine on certain builds but REALLY annoying on others, some people don't mind debt or scars (but I personally don't like them), denial doesn't necessarily make the game harder but limits build options so can be un-fun, etc etc.
rivals is def hard but it's cool. frenzy is a lot of free fear if you get used to it, but can be hard to get used to. up to you rly, good luck
oh, shadow also. makes some fights harder but just those fights

Timer 1 and 2 are good, things like hubris, revenant, frenzy (once you get used to it), as long as you stay away from pain, grit, and hordes, you'll be good

The best way to do it is only take vows that nerf yourself before you take vows that buff enemies

3 point in Time is very manageable without any hard vows, really.
All it takes is a bit of game knowledge on what your build should look like.

Next easiest, in my personal opinions:

1. Reduced healing (up to 2 points/50% recover) is very manageable, can still heal fully back up before final boss in many cases
2. Boon rarity priming, A lot of build doesn't need magic, and even if you need them, just bring hecuba and problem solved.
3. Enemy spawning from next region. Feels almost like a free one. The only time this ever concerns me is in the overworld section in the ship section, where those chunky robots can spawn too, but otherwise it's really easy.

Hahah this bothered me so much from the start! I think the reason they did it that way is because IV is misreadable as VI if you're looking at it from the "wrong" side of a see-through gate, and like, the player doesn't know which direction the gate is meant to be read from
