Randle is fine at 1 star. Engrave him up to e60 if you can.

Randle is a great early game carry while Rimu is a very good support

Focus on diamonds, guild coins, and labyrinth tokens. Try to place them spread apart. The fewer the buildings, the better the chance of levelling them up when landing on workshop tiles.

Two styles, passive and active:

PASSIVE:
build 4 res towers, 1 fountain of blessing

3 flower types, and 1 last preference

(i suggest energy tower for the last one)

Space them apart to have an empty tile inbetween all of them

So it goes like:

X x X (structure) x X x (structure) X x X and so on.
X = res bldg / fountain
x = empty tile

Always aim to get the +moves and the 4 workshop tiles

ACTIVE:

build 4 res towers, 1 fountain of blessing, and 4 energy towers (at the start). 6-7 energy towers by the middle of the event.

DO NOT plunder. Save your plunder hits

Aim for the shipyard in the lower left to stack plunder chances

With about 4-5 days left, save your tile rolls

When you feel you're ready, convert 3 energy towers to the 3 flower types

Convert the Fountain of Blessing to Fountain of War

Then use up all your plunder chances and rake in the resources

• Note that ACTIVE playstyle consumes much more time

Since you need to move around the energy towers a lot for optimal effect. Then move them apart before your daily 6 rolls.

Layout would be:
X e E (struct) X e E (struct) etc

X = res building / fountain

e = lvl 5 or higher energy tower

E = lvl 10 energy tower

On a day 5 acct in test, i landed on the yard several times:

The aim for the PASSIVE style is to land on workshop tiles as many times as possible

With the least amount of buildings on the map

So you get lvl 30 fountain and res bldgs as quick as possible

And you just farm them every few hrs. Laid back. Nothing to move around

The ACTIVE style aims to land on the shipyard as many times as possible.
To min-max your buildings, getting the fountain and res bldgs to 30 asap using energy towers.

Accumulate pillage attempts.

Convert to war setup a day or two before event ends.

Then pillage high-level enemy towns as many times as you can.

I still hate how no amount of diamonds can influence how much tries you can go for Highborn copies on Dragongazer.

A single Draconis scroll is worth 500 diamonds. A single Dragon card is worth 1200 diamonds in value judging from the price in Dream Store.

That means time card approximately has 800 diamonds value.

Used 1000 baits. Only 2 Epic pets. 😭

Maybe that's why I always exchange 375 for secret spice on pet release just to bypass the RNG

@untold hazel What they don't tell you is actually like, you don't notice it because admittedly companions DOES make early game a lot smoother with way better progression and shower you with gifts (not so much with newest servers because the massive giveaways are gone) , however the catch is they will gate you a lot earlier than classic and when they do, it will be extra costly to clear

What they didn't anticipate was folks in this community pooled together efforts and talents to come up with the ultimate classic progression guide that will get you though all the way to your first resource generation mode RGM, completely for free and not actually need to spend to progress (faster if you do obviously) and extensive guides on other aspects of game, this is way more supported and you will stay relevant even at mid game or end game F2P or not
