Bug: "Return" button in crafting interface goes invisible if you close and reopen the interface.

Example: Open the crafting recipe for Average Mining Pouch. This recipe calls for some Cramped and Small mining pouches, click on either one of these to go to its crafting recipe. There should also be a "Return" button visible in the bottom left.

Close and reopen the interface, and this button seemingly vanishes - but you can still click where it was to return up the crafting tree towards where you started.

Confirmed BUG: Event monsters and cooler drops are not behaving as stated or intended.

So I decided to be very careful with todays event quests, and I can confirm that mobs and coolers stop dropping before hitting the 50 mob drops.

I saved a bunch of coolers from the last two days (only opening the number required to complete yesterday) and used 12 of them for the first event quest after my day rolled over last night.

I haven't opened any oysters or other coolers, and I have only killed enemies on one character, who has been active.
Any time I need to get up, I exit to character select and close the game to avoid missing drops.

I entered the colosseum and had 9 coolers drop, then went to farm the sticks in the tree.
I had 5 mob spawns in about 5 minutes, and then one of the sticks dropped a cooler around the 6 minute mark.

At that point, I have not seen another event mob in the last 16 hours, despite around 10 hours of active farming.
I also have only had 46 coolers drop. 39 of those in the first 2 hours, and then the last 7 all within 30 minutes of each other.
Those last 7 were all dropped immediately after jumping to another world after a discussion in #idleon-gen-chat gave me the idea to test that.

Funguy Hi-score quest now allows for the "option" to have 100 total score instead of 42 score in a single game. However I was unable to turn in the quest even with a score of 70+, until I had reached over 100 total score. Seems to require both criteria to be met, instead of one or the other.

What you see here ladies and gentlemen is an infinite fishing pearl, you can afk as much as you want and it doesnt get consumed, get yours now by unknown means, but beware of taking it out of your food slots, or it converts back to being a single regular boring consumable ball. Followup: day 3, followed same procedure as above, only change is using android instead.
Unlike test yesterday, today's event is working exactly as described by Lava, no issues.
drop rate dropped off at 35 coolers, mob spawning stopped after 25th enemy after only 2 hours.
(seems to be a low limit for mobs, but can be made up with oysters.)

Going to test again tomorrow on steam and hope the pattern holds.

Tl;dr: steam's broke, android worked. Not enough data to prove it.

Not saying this is your underlying issue, but FYI it's an account-wide quest. Once you complete it on once character it's marked as done on all the others.
The drop limits and spawn limits are also account-wide, so starting it on everyone doesn't actually help you.

as reported by a few others, the Funguy quest Videogame Highscores are COOL!is bugged/broken. the codex quest log has the OR total score: null/100, while in the quest helper dialogue it displays OR total score: NaN/100.

this quest triggers a crash if only it is newly acquired by a character after completing the previous quest Mushroom Munchies - and upon forcibly restarting the game the codex and quest helper show the errant requirements.

if quest is left active on quest helper, it will eventually cause a game crash while playing with the affected character. removing it from the quest helper, and not actively viewing the quest's entry in the codex seems to help avoid the game crashing. characters that have already previously acquired this quest do not seem to be affected.

This is most likely related to the bugs with Choppin It Up EZ where it does not supply any minigame bonuses, but does apply damage bonuses. Might be that Lava did an incomplete update on a specific variable name? Seems like the outliers on why this breaks are two edge cases: a skill that gives two separate buffs from 1 talent, and a quest based around a specific high score?

Follow-up: I was able to do both parts of the event daily quest after reset today by logging in with the platform (in this case, browser) I accepted the quest on the last time I was able to get the quests from the quest NPC. I finished both parts of the daily event quest on browser before switching to Steam to do the rest of my daily and guild tasks.

Aight so, I am reporting this because Lava posted the Gem contest and it has been 2 days that I wasn't able to complete the summer NPC quest, Therefore i can not get coolers/get the amount of gems he was planning to giveaway during the event. It just killed my progress while I was at the end of the 2nd quest.....

PSA, FYI, whatever. Specific to ALL event quests, DO NOT change devices/ platform after logging in past your daily reset, this will and always have removed the daily quest from the quest log due to inconsistent server-cache data.

IF you do accidentally open the game and find the quest missing, you can IMMEDIATELY close the game and hope the data didnt save and go back to whatever previous device you were playing on.

This may have been the cause of my problem. I'd done those on a new character and then I'd started having the crash issues. After I had uninstalled and reinstalled, the problem was fixed, but I had to redo the quests, even though I still had the rewards from doing them before the crash issues.

part of the problem with the event quests is that the event creatures only show up spontaneously right away - while you have the quest to open coolers. Then you get the quest to hunt the creatures and they are done or nearly done spontaneously spawning and you can't kill enough to complete the 2nd quest. There either needs to be a limit lifted on # of spawns, rate of oysters needs to increase, or quest order needs to be reversed

If you spend points in this talent, you get extra star points to spend. Then if you re spec you should lose them, BUT if are already spent instead of un-leveling star talents it puts your available points to a negative until you re level that skill or gain enough points. This can allow you to barrow or loan star talent points my warrior is sitting at -106 right now because of this.

@oblique hound it's because your rings go up by 1 for the first hoop you pass through, but you only get +1 in a row after the second hoop. So you actually need 1 + 15 in a row. 1 to start the bonus, then 15 while the bonus is active. Took me a little while to figure it out, back when I only had 4 plays a day.

I have a lvl 30 mage/third character that started to crash to os shortly after completing mushroom munchies or i had a phone call in middile of the game that may have corrupted the data. I'm on a samsung galaxy 8 with larest OS version. It does not seem to be inventory related. And no skills or quest seem to display numerical anything unusual, time to crash is randomized ish. Trying to use menus seems to force the crash. Running and afking doesnt crash it but interacting does possibly. If a fix cant be found i rather be able to delete the character. Pecuna world 5, character name kanesane, characters 1 2 and 4 dont suffer from this, it has been one reset since this started and still persists

I have Idleon on my android phone, and when trying to sign in to steam I used the google sign in but used the wrong e-mail. The steam version now automatically logs in to the wrong e-mail every time I click the login button in the top right corner. Even with uninstalling and reinstalling, it signs in using google for the wrong account automatically. Any idea to get it to stop doing this? My game started to freeze after accepting this quest. Music still plays but the screen freezes and you cant do anything anymore. After forfeiting the quest, there are no more issues. the highest wave is that wave you can clear before the next wave spawns automically. Usually killing a Boss is a checkpoint and sometimes there spawn too many mobs to even do that. Also if you press next-wave before you finished the current wave it also doesn't add to best wave.

I just lost ~7 hours of active play. I logged in this morning after logging out last night on the same computer. Instead of showing my characters were idle for ~7 hours, they were idle for ~14-16 hours. I checked my bank and all the coolers I had banked for the new day were gone. All the active progress, changes, AFK gains over 10hrs (because of the prayer), traps collected,worship charge over cap, items over inventory cap... all gone. Game reset to what I had 13 hours ago...

Im having problems with logging in to one specific character.
When I connect on the browser, after 1 second (just after claiming afk loot) it freezes up completely. If I refresh it does the same thing again.
If I connect on mobile, it logs me in in a totally different place altogether and then the app crashes out.

also had the same issue with the Funguy quest. workaround involving forfeiting the bugged quest and talking to Funguy to pick it up again confirmed to resolve the issue. however, i tried it on another character that didn't have the quest - turned in the Mushroom Munchies quest and picked up the Videogame Highscores are Cool! quest and it bugged out again and leaving it for a few minutes crashed the game on its own. i believe this confirms that the quest is bugged only when it is picked up the first time by any character.

I'm also discovering that even though I killed Dr. Defacus during the time I didn't get credit for (because things were rolled back before that), that he did not re-spawn, nor did the boops. So somehow the game is treating it like I was active during that time but also took away all progress and activity. Most other activities did not seem to count at all (for example, I pushed to higher waves in tower defense but it still registers the lower wave, event quests were re-set, etc). So effectively it seems that I lost all progress with the bonus of also losing a day's worth of Defacus and Boops. Post office orders were not only reset as if they weren't done but I got at least 1 order that was different from when I did it after reset last night.

There is a display bug in the talent tab UI. If I firstly click the special talent tab, then click one of the special talent icon, and then click the previous/next page arrow on the left/right bottom corner, all three skill tabs (Basic/Class/Subclass) will display new talent point despite that there is no new talent point in these tabs. The display error will disappear as soon as I click any of the three tabs. (btw I'm playing on Steam)

Steam / Mobile player here. My Steam version is currently unplayable. Here's my bug report, hope it helps.

My game keeps freezing after a few minutes of play time. I'm also getting odd numerical values for my quests totals. For example, a NaNB value and various lower amounts to complete quests. I started having issues with the game after completing the first part of the daily two part event quest chain.

My steps:

1. I accepted the first event quest.
2. I pulled coolers out of my stash.
3. I completed the quest using the coolers.
4. I accepted the next quest.
5. I moved into Spore Meadows.
6. I used several clams to spawn enemies and pressed Auto.
7. After killing an event mob I crashed.

I logged back in, spawned another event mob, killed it then crashed again.
A while later I attempted to see if the game was stable on my phone and I noticed a de-sync in my data as my character did not have the event quest, and my character had a differing number of clam items.
I verified cache on steam, still crashes.
I reinstalled on steam, still crashes.

I should note, the crashes originally appeared to be associated with the event mobs, but have since happened seemingly randomly. Based on the faulty data within the quest tracker, I assume it may be due to the the game attempting to save or update data to the cloud.

Game thinks you are in quick ref when you are not - steps to reproduce:
While in town, click on the storage chest and have your character start running towards it.
While running towards it, open your codex > quick ref > then the anvil (on the production tab specifically).
This opens your inventory up in quick ref.
With anvil production tab quick ref up, your character should eventually reach and open your chest.
This will replace the anvil with the storage chest (without ever closing the inventory portion).
At this point, any attempt to interact with your storage or inventory will result in a "can't during quick ref" message even though you technically have the storage chest open.

This is fixed by just closing your chest and reopening it

Not sure if this is intentional or a bug, but movement speeds past 160% with SpeeDNA don't seem to give proper damage bonuses. Here's a few screenshots in an imgur link, the math on the talent itself seems to work properly showing 63% Move Spd = 142% bonus damage while 69% Move Spd = 155% bonus damage, however my damage only increases by 1 minimum and 4 maximum. Unless total damage somehow just falls off really hard, I don't think this is intentional.

Additional storage from purchases is 134 (five wood + paypay = 18; four silver = 16; four golden = 20; five purple = 30; two blue = 14; six premium = 36);
10 from construction since 2 per level.
In total I should have 172 but game says 170.

Using the quick deposit button from quick ref in the production anvil tab gives the materials, but no smithing XP. I'm not sure which is the glitch here, the fact that the button is interactable from quick ref at all or that there's no XP from using it

On Steam, v1.22b. Fighting Cefaunt, after I have killed all the arms the head starts attacking, but the shield remains up. Auto-fight targets the hammer hand, which keeps taking damage from attacks, even though it has already 'died'. So somehow that arm is both alive (takes damage and prevents shield from going down) and dead (it's animated as dead, doesnt attack, and the head starts attacking)

Worship best wave is the last wave you fully cleared before next wave spawns. So if you cleared wave 30 and couldnt clear all monsters before next wave spawns on the later waves then your highest wave is 30. This is to stop people from spamming next wave to boost Highest wave

Been playing for a while on my phone, and love the Steam version because it runs great (unfortunately the web version run terribly now, even on my powerful desktop computer. It used to run really well, but around the world 3 update it started running very badly for the web version) but the Steam version crashes a lot (and unfortunately has since it came out). Normally it's not a huge deal, but the one super frustrating thing is that the Steam version tends to crash very often right after logging into a character and getting the AFK rewards and picking everything up. If this happens, then I have to kiss my rewards goodbye since when logging back in the AFK timer has been reset, but everything that was gained was lost. Haven't been able to play for a while and just lost a little over 4 days on one of my Journeyman characters. About 4 levels and lots of gems from the level up gift perk from all the skill gains. But the thing that hurts the most is that I lost the Lucky Lad trophy that dropped! T_T Been trying for so long and twice now I have see that trophy and then crashed before I could change maps and save the progress.

Don't know if this one has been reported yet, when mobs bounce off the far left side of screen (platform they are on extends all the way to the left and slightly off screen) attacks that are being preformed on them abort.
Noticed with my Journeyman against the Sandy Pots, bullwhip animation cut off when Pot being targeted bounced off the edge of the world behind portal and turned around
Noticed with Mage against Mimics (bottom platform) where the Energy Bolt animation aborts midcast.

When I play on my second character (currently mining) the game crashes after 30-60 seconds, regardless of what I'm doing. This also seems to desync my account, as all my other characters will be 1 hour ahead after the crash (sometimes).

You've been saving anything leftover every day then, and opened only what was needed to complete the quests., to ensure being able to complete them the next day.
If you look at it from someone who has nothing going into a new day, then they can get unlucky (like me) and get too few shells to finish the second quest.
Coolers drop random loot, and you can get a lot fewer shells than someone else, and they spawn a random enemy. Like I said, it's been 3 days now where I couldn't finish.
And again, because of this I don't get the reward from the second quests, which means I start with no coolers or shells for tomorrow. I'm at a constant disadvantage because RNG fkd me, and that should not be happening.

Sure must be nice to actually be able to complete the second daily and save shells for another day. I'm not able to complete the second daily, so I don't get the shells from it to use the next day in case of bad RNG. I can't be the only one with this bad luck, and I don't see why people are against changing the requirements of the quest to avoid things like this. I really don't like the fact that some people can get hundreds of more gems, cards and food just because they got better luck. It feels bad, and it makes me not want to play anymore. Edit: Events should be a fun experience and a way to drive in new players. What happens if one of the first experiences of a new player is a quest they can't complete? Not a game I would sink my time into. It causes unnecessary confusion and frustration.

Make sure you go to character selection menu before closing the game and only after closing the previous platform game you can open it on another. If you open it on pc before closing mobile it will load a sync from earlier.
Going to character menu before closing does a sync so to be safe i always go character selection -> back to any character and finally back to character selection menu before closing and opening on other platform.
Havent had desync issue doing these while constantly switching platforms.

I don't know if this has been reported or not. While attempting to place a tower in between two of the starter towers on the bottom row, I some how placed it above on the top platform.

My character was standing right where the rope is next to the totem. So it was too far away to place. But some how placed way up top. With the new tower bar down it would be hard to click in this area, but has just enough space to do it. Was unable to recreate the issue as I had no more charges and died shortly after this. I could not delete the tower or do anything with it up there.
