It's still impressive. Some ghosts can be difficult and not give anything. I have had runs where I got no ghost events or evidence. It was rare in that match.

The most unhinged map I played was Maple Lodge. It's a huge map that reminds me of Crystal Lake, and I didn't know there would be a cabin in the back part of it. I wasn't expecting it to have that many rooms. It doesn't look it when you enter

What's the difference between Yurei's door interaction and normal ghost door interaction? My assumption was that yurei exclusively can full close the door shot or open in angle. But it seemed like any ghost can do that.

Yes, and people try to use this as a reason modern games aren’t ripping it off. But name one farming game between it and SV. It was so popular they revived the HM series to sell games lol. Plus the idea of incorporating combat, the community centre etc; all things other games also ape. They reinvented it and that’s the framework others are taking from.

You have to look at all the other ghost behaviours, banshee is pretty easy to tell if you know what to look for

A lot of ghosts you can tell from looking at them when they hunt (both oni and banshee you’d be able to test for during a hunt)

I think it’s just a bug, usually you can record it even if the text doesn’t show up. I sometimes get that when something else has shown up on the camera right before (say it walks over a motion sensor then sometimes “hunting ghost” won’t show up after), it almost always fixes itself for the next hunt though

Keep in mind the rooms are all the same temp until you open the front door, so they’ll need a beat to drop. So you could walk past the ghost room really early and miss it.

Trying both settings, make sure it’s actually picking up your mic, work on your diction.

And ensure you’re aiming at recognised phrases.
