Yes, but it's not that simple

What you're describing is only when Gallu goes from Normal to Enraged states during a hunt. It takes about 2 seconds for the change to happen, so you'd need your salt piles spaced out enough if that's how you're testing.

It was doing it last night and it’s still doing it today so it’s a whole new server.

The Thaye starts off young, this means aggressive and very fast. Over the course of the contract, the longer you’re in the house the older the ghost gets and it’ll slow down. It takes a long time but can become one of the slowest ghosts. If you’re doing no evidence no sanity it’s similar to a Moroi for the first hunt but will slow down later on and unlike Moroi it doesn’t speed up with LOS

Spirit Box needs close proximity to the Ghost, listen for doors/lights for UV or use salt and be ready to check instantly, D.O.T.S. You must pray hard lol. Having it by the door is common since they’ll roam in and out.

the brightness in the game is veeery low for the purpose of the scary spooky mood, even when at 200%. you can increase it with nvidia game filter though (alt +f3 if you have an nvidia card and latest drivers).
