Does anyone know if the devs are aware of the bug in the attic in grafton where the only evidence on three evidence you get is low temps. Its never freezing. Also no other evidence is present anywhere in the house and all other temps are 10 degrees higher than the attic. There is no activity on the board in the van and the debriefing shows the ghost spent the entire time out of the favorite room. And if you don't know, does anyone have the link to report bugs?

Ghost Orbs are weird, man
They appear on camera, but only with night vision, and the photocam/T3-headcam can't see them

But that aside, don't orbs typically appear as faint multiple dots after the ghost interacted with something, like a particle residue
Instead of 1 big bright Orb floating always

It wouldn't really make the game harder or easier, I suppose, if you had to wait for the ghost to interact with something and see if the EMF comes with ghost orbs

• You are too low level and they want a more experienced player
• You are too high level and they either suspect cheating, or want to play at a particular lower level pace
• They are waiting for 1 or 2 of their friends to join and have bad coordination so they kick to keep slot free
• Group host doesnt like you for one of many reasons which could be anything and its not personal

I usually try to use UV a couple of times before I confirm that the ghost is leaving no such evidence

The ghost can step in salt but not actually walk and still have uv. You have to listen to the footsteps that happen after the salt is distributed

After disturbing salt the ghost can take anywhere between 0-4 steps

I'm glad that one man made this game because there was literally nothing like it before he did and as someone who has actually gone "ghost hunting" a few times IRL the game really nails the feel and vibe

Best way to test for a shade, I think, is just leave a flame far from the inner walls, and see if the ghost blows it out
Not doable in really tiny rooms, but the bigger the room, the easier it is
The shade would have to leave the room and then still be in range of it to blow it out

But generally if every time you return to the truck and see the EMF graph change from a flatline to panic on the disco, it's a shade >80% of the time

Shades can't do ghost events when you're over 90% sanity I think, but I'm not sure about that

As far as I understand it, the ghost can choose to “interact” with any object in its range. If it chooses a book and does the evidence it writes in it so It would have 2 books to potentially interact with rather than 1 making it potentially faster.
