Onryo can blow out a candle twice within 20 seconds, will hunt after blowing out 3 candles, and cannot light candles

Poltergeist can throw many items at once so test for it by throwing a bunch of items in a pile and if it all levitates or gets thrown at the same time its a poltergeist

Is it just me or has anyone else notice the ghost have overlapping abilities now? Like a Jinn can roam like a Phantom. A wraith and Gallu can avoid all salt. Polti and obambo both throw everything.

Obambo doesn’t have the same throwing capabilities as a poltergeist, every ghost can long roam but phantoms will long roam directly to a player, goryos can’t change rooms unless monkey paw is used

The levitation mechanic added in Chronicle can make Polter harder to ID (or other ghosts seems like Polters) because it creates more uneven throwing. Jinn roaming like Phantom sounds like RNG. Gallu will avoid salt entirely while in its enraged state.

If your settings are not saving in the game after clicking APPLY - and you have the “optimize game automatically” option in Nvidia App turned OFF picture of the nvidia settings panel - load into a contract and adjust them there.

So don't assume this is the issue without first getting info that suggest it is

The other way for it is to use per-app setting to for the app use dedicated GPU instead of integrated GPU. However, there's performance degradation with NVidia when playing this game which I noticed after my move from Winslop to Linux.

You post in the region your lobby is hosted in. You can post the code or tell people to dm you for the code. People also put the difficulty they’re playing on for full transparency

You can search for the server region you're in and then input details like the name the room, room number if it is in private, number of players, etc. I don't know if they have some sort of a form in the pinned messages for you to follow.

I noticed in Phasmo lately when I play in Tanglewood. I got killed when my keyboard and mouse suddenly won't work or disconnected and my microphone turned off and there's a huge lag. Hopefullly they optimize the map due to performance issues. Also, I've been thinking of Garuda recently.

They don't. If you get the High Priestess Card while alive it's, as I understand, supposed to revive any dead player after the card is pulled

Or if you pull the card, as a solo player, then die it should revive you having pulled the card prior when alive

I had a game a couple hours ago that ended up being an Onryo, but it seemed like she never hunted after blowing out candles. I had two candles lit at all times, and she blew them both out a bunch, but never started hunting straight after any of them. Is there something else I'm missing about Onryo, cause afaik she's supposed to hunt after the third blowout, but she didn't.

I do only have level 2 candles, but i didn't think they went out on their own, and i was relighting them a bunch

How fast were you relighting firelights? Cause after its ability is triggered, the hunt can be cancelled by blowing out another firelight within range. Also smudge timers and such can impact it

Depends on what mode you’re playing. If you start with sanity then no not every ghost can spawn as soon as you enter the house. But there are a few ghosts that can use their “abilities” and spawn pretty early on.

Ghosts hunt at specific sanity thresholds unless you started with zero Sanity the ghost I believe most likely to spawn immediately is a Demon, which can hunt at any sanity threshold

So that’s can’t gun right when you get in but their sanity threshold to hunt is 75%. So if you’re in the house for a minute with lights off or in the ghost room early on your sanity can drop pretty quick depending on the ghost type.

The only ghost that CAN hunt as SOON as you enter is a demon. The Demon periodically rolls a chance to use its special hunt ability.
If that ability triggers, it starts a hunt regardless of sanity.
This means it can hunt right after you open the front door.
