What about interaction range? I noticed that on the Unofficial Cheat Sheet's map explorer, you can place down interaction measurements and it's split up into different square ranges. Is that measuring for difficulty or something else?

Hi is there an actual list of names that ghosts can have for each gender? I keep having the same discussion again and again that banshee and dayan are only female. And i think people don't know there are names that can be both genders. Like Robin for example.

Is there any tips for specifically Obake? Because I’ve heard people say that if I catch UV they have 6 fingers?

yes there is a chance for it to leave a 6 finger handprint as well as 2 finger on the light

but usually you just want to do a hunt and look closely if its not shapeshifting

I’m trying to figure out what ghost this could be. It was acting in my room right next to me, but then it started a hunt from a completely different room — almost like The Twins or a Wraith. The weird part is that during the chase it was throwing objects really hard, like a Poltergeist would. So it feels like a mix of multiple ghosts
At this point I’m honestly thinking it has to be a Mimic because what the hell I already have all three pieces of evidence confirmed, and I’m playing on Apocalypse III. I just don’t know how to properly identify it with this kind of behavior, and I’m completely out of smudges hahaha can u help me?

Well first part could be interaction from other room as it wanders out also explain it just normally hunting from wherever it is. the wraith would teleport to you.

Only way to tell if its mimc would be to find orbs. Could be banshee as they roam a lot but it wouldve been roaming to you more specifically. Interacting while outside the room also sounds like a shade thing to do

The ghost interacts outside the room. I was at the main door and it touched the doorbell and things like that. It even felt like a Wraith was teleporting to me. But then, during the haunting, it started throwing a lot of objects. I can search for ghost orbs, but I don’t want to risk the game since I already have the three objectives on that huge map

Nooo I do have a short clip, but I realized too late that I could record it and slow it down to check how it moves. I only managed to capture a small part of it walking. And since the ghost speed is at 200%, it’s really hard to tell anything clearly.
On top of that, because I reacted late, I could only record the last 30 seconds — so the clip just shows it walking away instead of properly chasing me.

Banshee wraith phantom would try to be near you, "mimic is everything so yes lol" but a ghost normally roaming out of its room and hitting the bell is normal if its room is close to it

all ghosts have a 50% chance every 0.5s to throw an object (if there's one in reach). Polter has a 100% chance every 0.5s. So any ghost can get a "lucky streak" and sound like a polter for a bit

Cruci definitely can be a tough objective. I might even reroll the game to avoid that one. Sensor is super easy, just put it anywhere the ghost will path during a hunt.

I'm in a discussion with someone trying to convince them that ghosts aren't supposed to be able to throw stuff with the lights on in the room unless it's a poltergeist.
