There isn't really an official "step up", but removing evidence from 1 to 0 is a +2 to the multiplier

A lot of the time you're focused on paying attention to what the ghost is doing or not doing, whilst ruling out some of the easier ghosts

My own flow chart is ruling out Wraith, Mimic, Onyro. All the while doing the Mare light switch tests, closing the doors half way to try and rule out Yurei. I'm also paying attention to see if there's activity whilst I'm in the room with the ghost (like for Shade), keeping mental notes on activity levels, early hunts (bring in your crucis early!). Hunts will aid in ruling out most of the ghosts too

You may have issues with the Goryo, lotta folks zero in on the fact it can't change its favourite room, but a little known fact is that it can only do a short roam (3m). So you'll rarely see it go further than a neighbouring room

How I used to figure out mimics is if I got one more evidence than I should then I'd go mimic, then I memorised freezing, spirit box, and UV and always test those when on 1ev with orbs

Can you see which lines are bigger than others? If so then the (I believe) second big line is 0 degrees, so if it's like on that line it's freezing

Get to level 100, go to the main menu, and you'll see an option to prestige at the top

Go to the main menu, open your journal under the main tab, scroll to the bottom, and you'll be able to reset your save file there. Make sure you REALLY want to do it, unless you backup your save file, you won't be able to reverse it once done. The devs aren't retrieve it for you either.

Had my first Gallu last night, still a little confused about the way its mechanics work.

So, once it steps in salt, it enters its enraged state and will not step in salt again until it has hunted, right? Or if a Crucifix prevented a hunt while it was in its base or weakened state, it would be enraged again, right? Or if it was smudged ( either in the ghost room or during a hunt )

You can't force it to cycle between the states, right? I know it won't step in salt again until it goes to its weakened stare.

Unfortunately, you're better off finding "ramdoms" to play with off the discord. You may still meet some weirdos or people who end up booting you, but it's way better than finding people to play with in game.

Gallu has a cycle of states. There are 3 states in total:

1. Normal state (the game always starts from this state)
2. Enraged state — always follows the normal state
3. Weakened state — follows the enraged state

To change the ghost from the normal state to the enraged state, it must be triggered in one of three ways:

• salt
• incense
• crucifix
  If at least one of these triggers is used, the ghost enters the enraged state and stops stepping on salt

To remove the enraged state the ghost to the weakened state, the ghost must finish a hunt naturally
This means the ghost has to start a hunt and end it without burning a cruci

After completing such a hunt, the ghost enters the weakened state
In this state, it steps on salt again and behaves exactly the same as it does in the normal state
The only difference is that after the weakened state, the ghost returns to the normal state instead of becoming enraged

Thus, Gallu has a continuous state cycle:
normal -> enraged -> weakened -> normal

Hey all, can someone please provide some guidance here. I have reported this to bugs twice this past year of bleasedale crashing out anytime more than 1 player parties in a private group playing on the psvr2 try to enter, yet no response at all, I saw some crashing issues on the map was addressed in March of 2025 but still it clearly has not been resolved. I searched troubleshooting and nothing, ive received no direct communication on this and I tried to access the channel for tech support but I get a popup that says i dont have access to that channel. I am beyond frustrated over this, so if anyone has any suggestions id love to hear them, because it appears the devs dont really care to do anything about it or even look into it.

To answer your question, ghosts can shut front doors like that during events. An Oni can do an event by the front door like that. As you can see from the activity monitor when you go back in the truck it did not jump to the standard height when a hunt is happening.

Does hunting ghosts bypass the 20 second timer for firelights?

It blew out the firelight, then I heard the sign that it's about to hunt, and either as it manifested for the hunt, or right before it did so (not sure), the same firelight was blown out.

Before that time the ghost didn't blow out the firelights in less than 20 seconds.

If the ghost turns it off or a player they will all come back on.
If it's blown all lights will stay off.

You can tell if was overloaded if it also turns off all the light switches. When the breaker is turned off directly, all the lights will come back on when it's flipped on.

Depends on difficulty mimic will always have orbs as its weakness. So 0ev is 1ev with orbs 1ev is 2ev with orbs etc.
Also you can do two hunts with power off to look for breathing you feel safe ina hunt. Or listen for it changing speed as it changes rooms. Harder to hear in cold weather or no breaker on.

Not really sure if this a bug but my daughter has had an ongoing issue for a while now. Anytime she and her cousin both try to put in each other’s lobby codes to join their games, it says game not found. Anyone else know why this could be happening? He’s already deleted and redownloaded the game and it’s still happening for him. I have her doing the same now just in case. It’s been going on for about a week now. *They are both on ps5 and have also both tried turning crossplay off and back on.

Can't hide perse on that difficulty but use motion sensors to make sure you are in range for spirit box get right up in them. But like I said a hunt or two is next test. Also Hantu will never turn on a breaker.

yeah, tier 3 won't go out on its own and has a ton of fuel and can be lit for like 10 minutes straight

both tier 3 lantern and lighter are also waterproof so they can be used in the rain

click report, pick one or more problem you're having consistently, it will insert a row into a database along with a timestamp and then we can work some data analytics magic to generate a charts for things like most reported issue per hour or something.

"I wish to trap the ghost" can't be used during hunts. When you use it normally, it traps the ghost in its room for one minute and then the ghost starts a hunt

you can take photos of things in your hand, have stuff active on your belt and can take 4 things in (technically 5 if you have lighter)

doors are finnicky but everything else works as expected. you can physically light candles/incense too which is awesome

placing things is interesting, sometimes there's a silhouette other times it's based on feel. like iirc you can't "place" candlelights so much as they are just.... there. drop em slowly on the floor

if it was just slightly slower, (feels a bit sluggish) twins or obambo, or hantu, rev is super slow until it detects someone
