So people griefing with the camera by spamming photos won't have an effect

So, when its red, it means it detected your question but got no reply. If it's a white line, it replied

Ghosts don't just stick around in one room.They walk around and they can hunt from wherever they are.

Some ghosts are highly active and prefer to walk around and don't spend any time in their room at all.

That same ghost on another game will be completely quiet won't do anything

We're playing the prison and the haunted mirror was our cursed object. When my friend used it, it showed a cell. When we went looking around, it started giving us evidence in the B block hallway. Eventually, we went back to the entrance area and we were getting cold breaths in there.
So does the mirror show where the ghost currently is or what the favorite room is? We've been trying to find an answer and nothing we've looked up is clear

Keep playing!! The more you play, the more you understand. Try not to rely on evidence as much. Learn their hunting and otherwise behaviours as well. The harder difficulties you play on, the less evidence you're given. It's always better to start researching or learning the ghosts behaviours early 🙂
