I've got a question. I just guessed Phantom incorrectly off of two evidence and it's behavior during hunts, as well as the severe tank in sanity while staring at it during events. Turns out it was a Goryo. Is there something I'm missing with how it behaves vs phantom? Any tips to guess it better next time outside of the usual "trigger a hunt with candles/crucifix+candle while low sanity?"(Edit, wrong ghost for candle trick so just general advice welcome lol) I'm playing on Intermediate so draining sanity takes long when trying to test for that stuff and I get impatient lol. Only had the game about a week or so.

Goryo can’t switch rooms and won’t really roam too far away from its favourite room. Phantom blinks hide the ghost longer and can’t be seen in either photos nor videos

The mimic almost cheated me out of a perfect game. Good thing I remembered to use the spirit box after getting Hauntu's evidence. It's so cheap that the mimic shares 3 out of 4 of its evidences with Hauntu and Onryo.

And that the orb isn't properly coded as mimic evidence so the book automatically rules out the mimic when you check it off.

GHOST" and was able to record it (partner was in truck on cameras already afk). THe board said "We saw ghost orbs!" Turns out it was ghost orbs, so probably same vein as the "Localization missing" or w/e sometimes shows up when you turn on the monitors in van as something is being 'caught'

I am in a MP game and they said the door closed and within 3s I was dead. It hunted at the top of the stairs on the 4th floor of Point Hope and the crucifix is at the edge of the rug next to the chair. It hunted from within 3m of the crucifix

So...even further...PH's 'floor' range is approximately 1/2 down the stairs. with this knowledge, that doesn't state it didn't hunt from the upper half of the floor above but wasn't noticed till to late. also. LOS makes all the difference. But i'm not hoping to continue this to become an argument. Just answering how it happened, however, for it to be bug, you would of had to be littereally on the 4th floor which I don't believe that was the case.

I’m pretty decent at getting ghosts correct in a short amount of time…11x. Let the stupid thing hunt and go from there. Usually rule out a fair amount of ghosts

The thing I struggle with Apoc challenges is just getting in the habit of using smudges proactively. It's difficult to get stuff to the ghost room unless it's on a smudge timer, especially since there are no real hiding spots.
