All I know is the ouija board uses voice rec. While the same thing is used for spirit box it’s a different system for voice chat with people. But you may still be able to get help from tech support.

to light it u must have a lighter (they go into a 4th inv slot) and when holding the smudge stick press X if your on ps5 and it will light and throw at ghost or hold it. and how u light when its chasing is just run away while changing to it smudge it and continue the run and hide if possible

I have finally managed to get the Doom Slayed achievement, which requires you to get killed by a Demon ability within 1 minute (this starts as soon as you spawn in the truck, so be quick).

First off, here are a few stats on how i got it:

Total playtime: 301 hours

Playtime spent solely on this achievement: 1 hour and 5 minutes (very lucky I would say)

Investigations during those 1 hour and 5 minutes: 32

Times the ghost was a demon but didn't use his ability: 2

Now, let's move on to my singleplayer custom difficulty settings (listing only the relevant one's):

Player - Starting Sanity: 100

Player - Sanity Drain Speed: 50

Player - Player Speed: 150% (to be able to move faster obviously)

Player - Sprinting: On

Ghost - Ghost Speed: 150%

Ghost - Roaming Frequency: Low

Ghost - Grace Period: 0s (this is SUPER important, otherwise you will give away 2-3 seconds every attempt.

Contract - Cursed Possessions quantity: 1

Contract - Cursed Possessions #1: Haunted Mirror

The only equipment i used was a flashlight + a photo camera (optional).

Now that we have settings and equipment out of the way, let's get into how I did it step-by-step:

I opened the Google Stopwatch on my second screen.

Selected 6 Tanglewood Drive as the map.

Created my loadout so i have a flashlight + a photo camera with me.

Started the round and checked the current time on the stopwatch.

Immediately used the keypad to open the truck doors.

Grabbed the key, flashlight and photo camera.

Sprinted into the house and used the Haunted Mirror.

Ran into the room seen in the mirror.

Threw the mirror on the ground and took a photo of it for some cash (optional).

Looked for the bone in the rooms right next to the ghost room (optional).

Left the house and ended the round if 1 minute has passed since step 4.

Rins and repeat steps 2 - 11.

This might sound boring as hell (and to be honest it kinda is), but as soon as you get into a flow, it's really not that bad, just watch a series or something on the side. I am well aware that i was very lucky with this, since people spent TONS of time on this achievement, but that's just RNG.

What's also important to know is that the achievement will pop only once you're past the rewards screen and get back to the "lobby". Funnily enough, I had EXACTLY 01:00 minute investigation time when i got the achievement.

Hey guys, i have a quick question. I'm currently prestige 17. I'm aiming for 20. Is there a way to calculate the XP needed once Prestige 20 and over level 100? Like is it a massive difference in XP once you get higher? It's just I've seen people in here who are XX- and over level 1000 so I was just curious? Like is there a certain way it's calculated?

I got doom slayed a few months after I started playing. I forced it though. Kind of. I didn’t realise it had to be demon ability at first, so I would just use the haunted mirror to start a hunt. Got lucky enough that it actually used the demon ability right before the cursed hunt I guess because I got the doom slayed

Do apocalypse 3, then you just have to do it once. I would suggest rerolling the objectives a couple times until you get really easy ones. Hope this helps
