I am answering your question. Like I said, to get a blown candle for media evidence, it is better to record it with the video camera instead of capturing a photo. In that way you'll avoid capturing a picture of a so called freezing temps even though the thermometer isn't in the picture's frame.
And even though you do manage to capture the candle only, I highly doubt you'll gain a unique photo. Since photo requirements changed since the chronicle update.

on 2ev and lower though, it can be a writing ghost and throw it cuz that may be the(a) missing piece of evidence

but that means it can't write in it period
