The problem with snake maps like PHLH is that their difficulty is so unpredictable and walking to rear rooms is no fun at all. Also, the light switch / breaker mechanic doesn't scale at all on these maps. That's why PHLH is a bad map, and a good example of a larger map is the new MLC, it immediately branches off in three different directions, so while the map is large in theory, for the ghost related gameplay most of the map basically ceases to exist the moment you have the room, no matter where it is.

Can someone explain how the sound recorder works? I can like never get a sound recorded of the ghost hunting and sometimes it doesn't record other sounds, or it's kinda delayed with getting added to the media tab. Is there a good video where someone breaks down how it works, maybe?

One thing I’ve learned is to hold the record button until the screen goes blank. If you let go of it too early you might not get the sound.

I said that adding the ghost to the ID card was dumb just because the deo is easy, because I think that level of gatekeeping is dumb, someone else said they should remove the deo, thats the context. A deo is a dumb idea because if you are not "capable" of doing it with any ghost, you aren't really ready and you wont learn anything, just because you can spend the time just means you potentially degrade the success for other people, and those people when they are emotionally unstable will try to go for things like gatekeeping that you should have a perfect game or other stupid shit to make it harder because they worked hard to get it so you should to, its dumb, thats the logic, sorry for the paragraph

If the ghost is near a crucifix when it tires to hunt, the hunt will fail and the crucifix will burn.
Tier 1 crucifixes don't work once they're burned.
Tier 2 and 3 crucifix still work after being burned once, but not after being burned twice.
Since the ghost spends a lot of time in its ghost room, it will usually start a hunt from there, so using your two crucifixes to cover the ghost room (if possible) will usually stop a hunt.
However, there isn't anything stopping a ghost from randomly roaming out of its room, out of crucifix range, and then starting a hunt. So it's not a 100% reliable way of stopping hunts.

Yurei or a mimic being a Yurei can close the front door without an event, all the other ghosts needs an event

The in-game journal really should count ghost orbs as mimic evidence.
