For those that do the 1 hunt camp method, where did you learn the ghost behaviors or how to accurately pin the correct ghost with reasonable accuracy. Ive been a very casual player on and off and have done maybe 15 and nailed the ghost twice. Looking to up my accuracy, ive been watching my reply back to try figure it out with the VOD too as a means to improve outside of the hunt pressure! 🙂

Its mostly just practise. Some ghosts have some easy abilities that you can figure out by one hunt or even before that. Some other ghosts might take 2 or 3 hunts

Im in and know the workings and what not, its distinguishing slow/med/fast footprints, some ghosts do things that i get confused with others. I had an oni for example earlier that was throwing things worse then most poltys ive seen. Watching content creators do it so effortlessly and me thinking ive put the puzzle togeather and its not even close, i feel like theres something im missing. But you probaly are right that its patience and practice.

Even if i get 3/4 an hour is still more exp then im getting solo profesionals so it is still great

Maybe they see some items or ghosts as more powerful than others and so they should be slightly rarer. Or maybe something IS wrong with the RNG, i have no way of knowing for sure.

Rng is a funky thing, every ghost has an equal chance, but it doesn't guarantee it. The more games you have, in theory you should move towards an equal 1/24 per ghost. Now, if every single person had the same ghosts, that might point to an issue

What I really mean is taking duplicates when one already exists in the book. If you, for somereason, decide to delete an orbs photo, you should be able to retake it. My issue was that I accidentally recorded two trips of the motion sensor because both went off in under a second, not fast enough to let go of the record button, I guess having both in view of the camera was ill advised, but I wanted to make sure I got it. And oh boy, I did get it!

Or at the very least, a cool down so that two of the same evidence can't be spammed recorded.

Well, since I've been playing a while, I know how to outsmart the ghost and use it's abilities to my advantage. So I can confirm, not to flex, I don't die often. Nor do my friends since they follow every single thing I do (idk why they do that, its not like I ask). Surely I don't drive like that irl and I try to play with 2 friends minimum, making a group of three. Keeping one in the van (which he doesnt mind lmao since hes scared) and the other comes with me to search for ghost room, bone, etc.

I have had a couple of groups that keep doing it, its getting frustrating when I say, lets find the ghost room, and they use the cursed object to find the ghost room.

the only "trick" is to use custom settings to make it easier to get killed quickly, but that's just about infinite sprint and ghost + player speed. You still have to hope that 1. it is a demon and 2. it decides to hunt in under a minute
