I mean, isn't it? The dots bunnies are after all just a remix of the Krampus boxes, or blood moon altars. One you take a picture of, one you press e on, and one you do dots at. To its credit, this applies random ghost effects. Good. But it's all the same slop to grind, over and over for 4 days. Rather than before, where you explore all the maps, complete tasks on every one, and get the trophy. Respects your time, was fun to hunt once, and made you feel like you did something, rather than ground it out.

oh the bunnies. See, finally you've mentioned specific to discuss. Yes, I think all the community event "totem" things are pretty lame, but admittedly the bunnies are the most interactive and creative of the bunch so far.

My hope would be that the build upon that and give us a better Blood Moon next time around.

Imo, keep that. Force us to bunny hunt on every map once, then trophy.
For blood moon, bring back the ingredients. Just change the hiding location on maple lodge, and amount on the cards each year.
For Christmas, give us the snowball gun. Shoot all snowmen on each map once, and we're done.

Do that for those 3 events respectively, perhaps spicing up what occurs at completion/each stage, and you're good.

That's all that we ever needed.

nah, I'm just, calling it how I see it. it just sounds very pessimistic when you point out community rewards are a scam - they are merely a timed release for rewards. not any sort of reward based on merit.

This was abundantly clear in the Blood Moon event, where they moved the goalposts multiple times. This was similarly clear in the Krampus event, where they moved the deadline as it was too soon.

Now, with Easter, they basically gave us the "rewards" instantly. overnight, we all had the upgraded card and trophy. Then the grind to get tje card and upgrade the trophy began.

The "community rewards" are just objectively scams. we aren't getting rewards on merit, we're getting rewards based on a delayed release. Do you think they will ever permit us to fail a community reward?

Primarily due to the random effects for each bunny, and the personal goals. It was a grind, but better. But I know Kinetic can do even greater, because I've seen it before, and I know they can standardise those old events if they wish.

It's afraid of flames, so the candles act like a cruci for an onryo, if it doesn't switch rooms it will continuously try to blow it out and try to hunt if it can, thats why the test recomends using a cruci underneath the candles. But it's like a cruci for it because as long as it's lit it wont/cant hunt

So in theory if you lit a ton of candles then it wouldn't be able to hunt until they all blew out

To my knowledge, there really is no way to determine a mare. The only thing you can say is if a light gets turned on then it definitely isn’t one.

There is technically, it has an ability to turn a light of the actual second you turn a light on, it will also never turn a light on so if a ghost turns one on it's not a mare

It also has less activity in the light versus the dark, so if it's room has lights on it won't do much of anything, but turn it's light off and activity increases significantly

yeah thats probably the only actual way to determine a mare, turn on a light switch and if it turns it off instantly its a mare ability..

that and the turning lights or electronic devices on then you can rule it out

Just be careful with the mare ability. All ghosts are capable of "replicating" it by just feeling like turning the switch off right as you interact with it. Every player can try the light switches near a suspected mare every 10 seconds to check for its ability. If it happens twice or even three times chances are it's a mare

Raiju will be normal speed during a hunt, faster if it doesn't know where you are. Revenant will never ever speed up except if they know where you are

A raiju will mess with your equipment from a LOT farther away, and it'll only be fast around equipment that's on, revs will be VERY slow not knowing where you are and then speed up like a race car when it does

Just had my most active ghost ever and it was a Goryo. I got evented on like 4 times LMFAO. Kept turning the lights on and off. Kicked the book and finally gave me EMF5 ty. I got UV very fast. I couldn’t get dots but I ruled out everything else.

Oh yeah, goryos tend to do a LOT of events and are agressive usually, always an exception out there but they tend to be an agressive ghost
