When the ghost is coming i listen for footsteps and look for obvious stuff like Hantu Breath. shapeshifting and the blinks. If i have no clue what ghost it is i just rule out every ghost that it cant be and guess

when you get mimic orbs though, they look like regular ghost orb evidence, but it's actually a trait. selecting it in the journal actually crosses off mimic as an option. it's one of those weird quirks you gotta remember on the side.

for example an emf reader wont always give emf 5 if the ghost does something even if the ghost is emf5

it only has a 25% chance of giving an emf5 every time it interacts w something

and then freezing temps can basically happen at any time the room isnt guaranteed to be freezing for the whole round

the only one thats technically guaranteed is ultraviolet, if a ghost touches a door and it has ultraviolet as evidence, it will always leave behind a handprint if it touches a door (exception is obake, it only has a 75% chance)

crawling ghosts are good practice for looping based off audio instead of visual

add a ghost that walks through walls and also goes at 5x normal speed if youre within 30 meters of it otherwise it goes at 0.1 meters per second and will randomly have a 5% chance every second while it is in that state to randomly instantly kill a player across the map no matter the distance

that’s fun, it makes it so you actually have to strategize and not just loop the ghost

which looping crawly ghosts is still quite simple you just have to be quick to react and have good hearing

add a ghost that immediately starts a hunt every time you turn a light off in a room and if more than 5 lights are on at the house at once it explodes the wiring in the house setting it on fire and killing everyone

usually it takes a while after the round starts for the ghost room to cool down, just walk around for the time being and listen for stuff being thrown or touched bc then u know the ghost is in that area

if u walk into a room and u see stuff all over the floor then the ghost probably in there

poltergeist does throw stuff a lil more often but its not a great idea to juts go off of that even if ur a pro at the game, because u dont know how long the ghost has been in there or if it just got lucky interacting w stuff, remember that either way any ghost can throw stuff and they will throw stuff around alot
