Are the developers working on a fix for the line of sight/hiding spot issues?

Had a ghost yesterday in dining room of bleasdale I entered the side garden and had to hide in the shed for a hunt, it bee-lined it to me and killed me without opening the door. Ghost type was guessed wrong as we thought it was one that had player knowledge abilities... yet found out later hiding spots are busted and ghosts even checking spots?

Then we were on a different map they got UV and on my end I didn’t. They took a picture and the photo said fingerprint. But I never saw it

Pretty much yea. Frustrating cuz hunting mechanic there led us to believe it was a ghost it wasn't and I heard there have been issues since the update with ghosts being able to just walk into hiding spots, see players over counters or behind things they couldn't before, and not losing line of sight even when blinded with smudge. 😥

We've experienced them all and its made the hunts very challenging, especially when on nightmare or similar custom settings.

Nope. Banshee can stalk the target. Phantom can roam and Wraith can "teleport" to any player and it will give off EMF 2 or 5 (for Wraith as one of the evidences).

So apperantly (and I tested this to far lengths) the ghost cant throw objects from a lit room. So if you turn on all the lights around the ghost room then stand in the dark ghost room a shade wont be able to throw anything through the wall forcing it to throw when its in the room. obviously it cant do that cause its a shade. if it ever does then its not a shade

my only 2 options left were raiju and obake, It hunted so i threw down my flashlight and hid, it ran past where i was and i immediately was like "holy shit it sounds like he's BOOKIN it", remembered then that a raiju will speed up around active electronics, shit felt so nice😩

from what i understand is that the Banshee skill (roam to yo ass) interacts weirdly with the long roam, because of this, the long roam has been disabled. Long roam is needed to change the ghost room (a percent chance). this is why banshees no longer have the ability to change rooms

Phantom: sets a waypoint to you, walks to waypoint, gives off EMF 2
banshee: sets a waypoint to you if you are in the same floor as it is (unless in attic or basement, it will stalk you regardless), walks to waypoint, will not give EMF 2
