Getting dots on camera in the ghost room is insane I had it set up in the computer lights room and nuthin

take advantage of all your hiding spots check some so you know some at the start

KNOW YOUR MAP.

try and take down difference LOS speeds and speeds for certain ghost types like hantus and revs. (so you know what to expect)

ALWAYS maintain your sanity.

keep close eye on evidences at all times

LISTEN for sound cues prior to a hunt, like humming or anything to signify grace period.

if you play with friends the ghost killing them extends the hunt too.

rev is easy to hear the footsteps - it'll be incredibly slow unless it detects you at all, then it suddenly sprints into the fastest ghost.
yurei does double door touches, you'll get two reads at the same time from a door on your EMF reader. sometimes shuts doors.
in a cold room (or with the breaker off) the Hantu will show its breath as it's hunting
