Maybe you weren't fully cautious and it blew out another flame at some point, making the 3 candles test actually be a way to prevent the ghost from hunting as the 3rd candle would be the 4th flame.

You still need a certain level of skill to perform at a certain level. It’s like asking a noob to loop a ghost, even with a smudge, they’re likely gonna die, whether it’s due to using their sprint during the rotation and not having it to run away, or getting stuck on obstacles cause they’re too fixated on the ghost… Skill plays a huge factor in what you can and can’t do.

If the shade is in the room, yes. But if the shade wandered outside of the room, it can interact with the door or items through walls. It's a little tricky in smaller rooms like the Tanglewood Utility room or bathrooms.

Hey guys, quick question! I was under the impression that if the ghost throws the ghostwriting book, it means that ghostwriting cannot be an option. But now I'm being told that throwing the book is just an interaction, and can still happen as long as the book hasn't been written in yet. But throwing the book doesn't necessarily mean that it can't be ghostwriting. To be certain, you should set multiple books, and reset them after they've been thrown.

Nightmare, Insanity, 0 ev/custom with less than 3 evidence, you cannot rule out writing because it may be "hidden" by the nature of the difficulty.

PHLH is the worst offender regarding map difficulty depending on the ghost room. Tube levels are either trivial if you have a ghost at the entrance, and awful if the ghost is at the far end.

The double light switches per room simply doesn't work with the fantasy breaker mechanic. 5 Light switches get you all the way to the end of ANY small house. the full 9 switches don't even get you half way up the tower. This results in massive sanity loss just from walking through the dark. The walking distance from entrance to the top is longer than any distance covered in a much better medium map, Maple Lodge.

Speaking of travel distance, the distance from truck to entry is also the longest in the entire game. PHLH is a walking simulator :/

The Jinn will try to interact with the breaker and give an EMF2, but it won't actually turn it off.
