Smudge timer and hunt timer are slower than realtime stopwatch. Otherwise nice site and I want to use it.
Firefox 117.0 (64bit).
Chrome looks like working properly.

On mobile Firefox it is even slower (116.4)
Safari on mobile is also slower than real stopwatch but faster than FF.
Chrome on phone is also a little slower.

After hours of staring at the sanity monitor after visiting various rooms, I've made this map of Sunny Meadows which rooms have lights that actually prevent sanity drain, and which rooms have lights that only reduce sanity drain by 20%

CORRECTION: Due to sanity weirdness, the Basement West Corridor is labeled wrong and lights do actually only reduce 20% of sanity in that room. I don't believe any other rooms were tested incorrectly.

Question is how accurate it is unless there was 2 of you as you got to account for travelling to rooms in that time you loose sanity on the way. But eitherway nice job

I babysat a candle as I commuted between rooms (150% speed infinite sprint), which would make any possible sanity drain from traveling between rooms a fraction of a single percent. I stayed in each room long enough to see a measurable distance in sanity (at least 10% sanity or so)

They did not have interesting results. Every single room light on Maple and every small map I tried totally prevented sanity drain.
On High School, the 'red' rooms are the Lobby, Lecture Hall, Basketball Court and all corridors.
I haven't tried Prison yet.

Because the rooms there are so screwy, there is a small "corridor" where you can have lights on but you will lose sanity because the light fir that room are off

Not super surprised for hs coz some of those lights fall broken like asylum which has heaps, I assume prison will probs be similar although the lights are better in corridors. I find maple interesting and kinda good honestly coz I know a lot of people don't like it atm hopefully the no sanity drain with lights will be something to help people wanna play it again

It's true, but some of the rooms considered 'dark' in Sunny Meadows are very well-lit, whereas rooms that are extremely dark even with the lights turned on (like Female Day Room) are still considered 'bright'

Howdy! We have added another requested feature to the Unofficial Phasmo Cheat Sheet...

Monkey Paw Filter

This is a new logical element that will allow you to cross off an evidence that was marked off by using the Monkey Paws "I wish for knowledge" wish. Simply click on the Monkey Paw icon to the right of the corresponding evidence, and this will remove all ghosts with that selected evidence (even if you have 2 evidence or 1 evidence filter logic on). It works with the Shared Journal Link and it has voice commands that can be used. If you see any bugs or something has gone funky with the filtering, please let me know!

Crucifix mechanic is probably the only thing i am not completely sure of. Since how will it work with the other ghosts and the crucifix moving doesn't seem like a good idea since it is easy to see. Probably better if it just ignores the placed crucifixes altogether or

If it will always roam outside of the area and will start hunts there. Difficult to see and will be harder to guess. For the rest it is a great idea

I have a cool idea for a ghost, it would be called a “hellspawn” and ifs evidence would be emf5, orbs, and either writing or freezing. Its ability would be, if it kills another player or if a player gets hit by a ghost event the ghost gets more aggressive and more powerful every time (a % increase). It would be cool imo

Or you can have it be like a doorway connector of a cursed object. Sit in it and the person vision will fade and they can see from the ghost prospective what room they are in or what it's doing like if it opens a door or something like that. Stay in the chair for too long and it'll take you over and kill the sitter. Much like the mirror. Like the vision will become more and more black to show as indication you could die at any point just like with the the mirror timer

Witch's Totem
Rather than having a cursed possession to use to your advantage, this one should be found and destroyed (after photo evidence of course!).
The Witch's Totem curses a randomly selected player (or yourself on Solo) and affects them in various ways until it is destroyed. Be careful though, whilst destroying the totem may cure it's victim, it will anger the ghost, initiating a cursed hunt!

It looks a bit small. I bought a uv light with a very similar design like ingame but it's small. I wanted to post it if I find fingerprints but I need to find a better substance that glows in uv because anytching I found at home is very low visible and is hard to remove from doors (I guess, this is cooking oil). Do anyone know something an easy accesable substance that glows in uv and doesn't leave visible mess?

Discord Link+, My Stats Explorer

This is a continuation of the Discord Link that the cheat sheet has had for quite some time. But now when linked you are able to record even more data, including: what your original guess was if not the actual ghost, if a ghost killed you, number of evidences, monkey paw data, and more! And we have expanded with a new page that contains a treasure trove of your statistics! (See image below). To get to this new page, make sure you are linked using Discord ("Discord Link" tab), click on the "Discord Link" tab, then press the "My Stats Explorer >>". This new page will show you what ghosts you encounter most, which ghosts you die to more often, time series data to see if those few pesky ghosts really were more common last week, how many ghosts you got correct/incorrect, and which ghosts seem to act like other ghosts!

I made some redesigns for the models in Phasmophobia for an AU I thought of. Think like, five years into the future, and these dudes do more than just ghost hunting.
I relied on the wiki names for the models, I'm already aware they aren't exactly official names(Unless they are, but eh). Their nicknames are sorta more reflective of who they are and what they specialize in when it comes to ghost hunting. Plus, I got general ideas for lore and backstories, and some of the crazy crap they get into.
Any criticism is welcome! This is a really rough reference thingy so yeah.

Edit the sheet at the map size and your multiplier that you use the most.

I have used different calculations to randomise 200 investigations (based on your chosen difficulty) and their rewards to find a good - enough average reward. This is then used to calclulate the rest.

It's not perfect, but you can expect about -+10% variation on accuracy. So you might not take 80 hours but 75 or 83.

That's the thing with RNG.

Here are the CWW grinding settings for the Doofy Goobers Strat. There are 2 variants, the first one (x12.97) is the one we used to be the world first on prestige 20 and the second one (x11.47) is the one we used to hit Level 999 which is even faster than the first one, more fun and much easier for solo and duo runs.

• Apocalypse III - preset
• 100% player speed
• 100% ghost speed
• Hunt duration: medium

The journal does it, but I'm new to the game (not even level 40 yet) and I have a hard time trying to remember what all each ghost has for evidence. So after we get two, instead of looking up each potential ghost, we just use the command and it saves my friend and I some time with how I have it setup. Here's an example. So if you don't know what the five remaining ghost types need, this can just tell you right away. This one isn't great because it's literally everything, but sometimes you only need to rule out one or two things. The second picture is a better example because we also know immediately what we can ignore for evidence, and the mimic always seems to get us so I added notes in for that as well. Nothing wrong with the journal, just takes extra time and doesn't always give the full story

Hi Phasmo community!

I'm working on an open-source app (developed in Godot), and I'm hoping to find some individuals (18+) who would be willing to test it and provide constructive feedback before I release the first version to the general community.

Currently, the app has three core features (much more are planned):

• Map Visualization (With Pan/Zoom)
• Range Visualizer
• Smudge Timer

The maps are all by @fresh lichen; he has been gracious enough to work with me to provide all of the maps/layers.

The Range Visualizer is a very unique feature. It draws a circle on top of the (loaded) map, which can be repositioned to help visualize the effective range of mechanics such as an Onryo’s Firelight Protection range, or a Myling’s footsteps audible range. See the use-case example in the screenshots.

In its current state, this app provides little use to new/beginner players. The core audience right now are experienced players who are hunting with zero-evidence or want to better understand ghost behaviors and how to plan around them.

I want to keep the forum small at first (3-5 testers), so if anyone here would be willing to be early/first testers and provide some constructive feedback, or if you have questions, please let me know!

I spent the last 2 weeks working on this project and a month of research and I think it is ready. I made an enhanced version on the Phasmophobia Ghost Journal so it goes into deep detail so its easy for people to do 0 evidence. It explains the behaviors of the ghost during hunts, events, ect. It includes the description and evidence (including forced evidence) of the ghost and its strengths and weaknesses from the game and how to find it. I’m going to make a custom ghost type, almost like an inverse onryo. How does this sound;
-speeds up near fire
-roams to lit fire on the ground while not hunting and stays near it
-if a player has any fire source in their inventory, the ghost will target them, almost like a banshee (regardless if it’s lit)
-also it would have a chance to have a slightly larger, brighter orb, that looks slightly closer to fire (almost like obake prints)

Tell me if there is something you would like to see/change. Open to suggestions before I start

Metahuman does make me really happy for the future of game design. Its already fairly impressive, but I think it will be a ton better in the near future

Don't get me wrong, there is nothing that will ever replace detailed from-scratch creation of certain characters, but the near future holding things like procedurally generating NPCs in very high detail with the ability to have animations and expressions adapted to the model... for free (with Unreal)... will make a lot of future Indie games hit a little different

So I got bored playing Golf With Your Friends and I wanted to make my own map, so I started to look at my steam library games for a theme idea and phasmophobia caught my attention. My plan is to make a full Tanglewood course and I thought it would be cool if I hinted at a ghost by showing evidence at some of the holes. Depends on how much detail you put into stuff, If you try to create all the equipment fully working like I have you would need at least a small team & A decent budget to pull it off. neverminded the different skillsets needed like woodworking, sewing, machining, electronics, 3d printing, software design, and much more. that said If that ever becomes a thing I'd love to contribute.

Not really fan creations but I thought of a few Ideas on how to rework/tweak the mimic. These were my two outstanding ideas( Ive made it in Samsung Gallery so it looks poorly made). The rework would basically be a removal of the orbs and this would get replaced with either a fake evidence that its mimicing therefore replacing one of the three evidences[the mimiced evidence and the evidence thats getting swapped out for the mimiced evidence is random every round]or a taunting spiritbox/paramic response for example laughing

So far, I had to spend around 70$ for the same assets they used when modeling their environments but other than its all been on my own. The ghost AI as of right now can do throw objects, explode light bulbs, flicker lights, write on walls, manifest, respond to questions, and walk around. The EMF does give off different values for these actions but unlike phasmo whenever it throws an object the EMF signal comes from the ghost itself and not the object thrown. The rooms temperatures and the thermo are also working, that's what I worked on today. I still have a long way to go but its all coming together.

From my Twitch Channel - A Voodoo Doll mini-game I've made in SAMMI

Based off Phasmophobia's Voodoo Doll, "SAMMIB0t" has 10 PINS to pull.

Pull a Pin for:
A: Useless Information
B: Actual Evidence
C: A Clue

Use all of this to help identify the Ghost that SAMMIB0t has randomized.

If you get it correct you get 30 days of VIP, get it wrong and you "Kill the Stream."

The Pins are all randomized, with Pin 10 being the Heart pin which is a insta-kill on the stream.

It sends a chat message each pull , each guess, and let's you know which ghost it actually was before resetting with a brand new ghost to guess each time. Includes a leaderboard as well for if you've "Killed the stream" and if you've guessed correctly as well, with separate commands for all.

I have the testing video I did but it's more of a plug for my channel and I figured it wouldn't be appropriate to put up here.

I just made Phasmoo, an open source website that's a Phasmophobia journal.

It is very responsive and has unique layouts for screens like the iPhone SE and Galaxy Fold, average mobile devices, and desktop screens. I did my best to give the best user experience possible.

The main algorithm deals with all difficulties, guaranteed evidences and fake evidences, and it's about 20 lines of code.
When you haven't yet determined the presence of an evidence, Phasmoo runs the algorithm schrodinger-style with the evidence both present and absent to determine if only one of the states is possible.

You can also somewhat configure the UI, enabling/disabling icon mode and switching themes.

Feel free to suggest any feature or report bugs.

For developers: I'm new to React and Tailwind and don't have enough experience with their patterns, so the code is tech debt simulator.

Very snappy and minimalistic, I like this a lot 🙂 I think you did great for someone new to React/Tailwind.

Only minor improvement I can suggest is that on mobile (iPhone 12 Pro) you have to scroll through the evidence menu. It looks like you may have a CSS rule that doesn't go into effect until the device height is less than 800px which may be the culprit when you take the address bar into account. Dev tools shows it would work, but real device has a different experience. Look into ngrok if you want to test on a live device without having to plug your phone into your computer 🙂

Oh yeah, originally evidence buttons were text only, without a toggle to use icons instead, so on short screens the buttons took way too much vertical space, making the ghost list basically unusable. That's why it becomes a single row when <800px. I'll look into having a different behavior when you use icon buttons (which are now the default), as they don't take too much space. Or I'll find some better way.

i think raiju, phantom, hantu and oni can move to the first hunt category as they all have very specific hunt tells.
banshee imo is a case of singleplayer vs. multiplayer as it's much easier then and jinn is also breaker dependent so it can either be super easy or harder then goryo
