Hello investigators!

I bring you Better Evidence. This is a small Android app using React Native to better help you track evidence and get info about the ghosts.

I made this app to practice my development skills but my friends really started using it and asking me for changes. Eventually they suggested me to make it public so other peeps can use it. So, here we are.

The code is open source and anyone can check it and contribute to it! Hope to see some PRs from any of you!

Right now, it's only available for Android as I don't have a Mac to compile the app for iOS.

A friend of mine, who visited my while the years changed, played Phasmo for the first time on my machine. She was directly so impressed and asked if I could help getting her a gaming rig. And I said sure, I will order the parts build a rig for you. The delivery will take place soonish, so i took the time to record some moving pictures of that rig before it leaves me.

Hi everyone! Hope you're doing well. I've made a stopwatch Windows application using Flutter which can be triggered using keyboard keybinds.
This means it can be used while playing phasmo without the need to switch windows to activate it.

I made it with the sole purpose of timing hunts and smudge effects while we're playing phasmo, since that seems to be a key part of determining spirits and demons in a no evidence run.

I would like to give the application to the community so they can use it, i've made a GitHub repository for it. The flutter project source code is all there, aswell as the runnable. I don't know if i can post it here so if anyone is in need for it, i can make it available

Hi everyone! I hope this finds you well. I'm studying music composition in university, and a few months ago I wrote a Piano Quartet (Piano, Violin, Viola, and Cello) inspired by this amazing game! It's not the typical music some of you may be used to, it's experimental with the sound and can be quite evocative. Simply put, it's part of a newer genre of classical music that pushes and tests the idea of what music is called contemporary, or atonal, music. The first movement is about the Spirit, and begins with a prayer. The second is about the Banshee. The third is about the Raijū. The fourth, and final movement is about the Poltergeist. Made and tested a phasmo inspired board game last night!
Going to properly print a Beta version in 2 weeks. (friend is a printer)
Works suprisingly well as a tabletop game, similar to Betrayal - with inactive players still involved in team decision making and checking the ghosts evidence and discussing ruling out from secondary evidences.

Are the devs interested in these things? Do i need to remove phasmophobia from the board game name? The map was heavily sunnymeadows inspired so would need to change it otherwise 😁 Please and thank you.

VERY early Phasmophobia shared evidence book.
It will be a lot more styled but this is just it working.

You'll be able to make a room for you and up to 4 friends, you and your friends can all select evidences that it has done.
I will also be making a variant within the same application that is used for no evidence. Was already working on it with a fork that someone else made but egh lol

As a continuation of the post I'm reacting to!
This is now currently what I have for the main design of the site and I'm going to be adding the feature that's previously shown!

The feature will also include a 0 evidence & sanity checklist that will allow to run checks based on the ghosts speed with BPM timers (should also be added with the shared journal) and a lot more useful things but I may limit what I'm adding because I don't wanna make Phasmophobia too easy 😂

I think the way I’ll do it is by adding ranges, and if the ghosts falls in the range I will add like a message underneath it saying “It could be *insert ghost name here*”

Collapsing works based on sorting and sorting is based on name so it makes it easier to scroll through and most importantly of course the fact that you can pick the evidence now too 😄

The Cursed Clock! you turn the clocks hand to control time itself! once you turn the clocks hand. Activity will move faster, the day will change as well, and the ghosts aging, (only for a Thaye) but its risky, at any moment, the clock will chime, killing you or starting a cursed hunt, 50/50 chance (my fault for miss spelling control, and this is obv a premise, it’s not the accurate design, if you really want to see a full design, I can draw it for you, just dm me)

I kinda like the idea of a haunted mirror type object that lets you “speed up” the game by doubling interactions and make them also faster but I’m not sure about the chime killing you on the spot. With enough sanity you should be able to “accelerate” 12 hours from noon to midnight but like mirror if you hit 0 sanity before that point it’ll chime and start a hunt. Voodoo doll with less gambling and a focus on sanity rationing.

so I thought of a new idea, the clock chimes only when you twist the hands, but it’s random, could be early or later, it could take about a minute, so once the clock chimes, it could not kill you, I’m thinking only a cursed hunt, but if you are thinking of a good part if the clock chimes, I don’t really know since all cursed items can start hunt( or maybe instead of killing or starting a hunt, it drains sanity FAST,)

Howdy! Just wanted to give an update to anyone that uses the Unofficial Phasmo Cheat Sheet (Link in pins). We recently added the ability for you to link your cheat sheet to your friend's cheat sheet. In the settings tab you will find a new "Shared Journal Link" option, simply have a host "create" a room and anyone that wants to join that room can simply enter the code of the host and hit "Join". From that point all evidence, number of evidence, footstep speeds, selected ghosts, ghost speed modifiers, and the smudge timer will all be synced with everyone in that room until you hit "Disconnect". Let me know if you encounter any bugs!

Created this as my background for my second monitor when I play, really useful for modes with limited evidence/no evidence. Listed are easy ways to determine ghost types, and almost all ghosts can be determined by doing only 4 tests (on the bottom right of the page) Hope this helps! I went ahead and created a rewrite of the entire ghost journal in the ghost aspect! The journal I reimagined, is considerate of helping players learn information as they play and correctly identify ghost types, rewarding them with information about them. Even included 2 reworks and new ghost types!

But I've been told even if you get a jump of 4-5, it's never guaranteed and in the games where it's been EMF based on the board, a jump of 4 has never told me anything or they just never appeared. If you want EMF 5, look for two jumps of 5. I would never trust a jump of 4
I've only guessed wrong on one game when it comes to EMF board stuff, but that was because I didn't look for two jumps of 5. Only saw one and assumed. Later realized it was a mistake

Hey there, I made a little project called Phasmophobia Toolkit which includes all the tools you need to up your ghost hunting game. Hey all!

I wanted to proudly show what I've been cooking up.
Haven't had a lot of time since my second son was born, but I am super stoked to show what progress I've made on the application I was developing mentioned earlier in April 😄

Currently the shared evidence is actually shared now, I'm still in the progress of making rooms and all that as well as the ghost information is actual and not a placeholder as before, slowly but surely it's coming together ^^

I feel like it'd be a nice QoL feature to have in the overview tab so you can double check to see if you meet the requirements from a quick glance. Given that you accidentally take a 2-star photo instead of a 3, the 3 star gallery bullet would be crossed out signifying that you've voided perfect investigation. Pedantic detail but I replaced "Keys" with "Checklist" as that segment of the page is dedicated to archiving and checking off what progress has been made in the investigation.

Yet another feature that has been added to the Unofficial Phasmo Cheat Sheet (https://tybayn.github.io/phasmo-cheat-sheet). Since the beginning of the site we have provided the ability to listen to what a ghost's footstep speed would sound like at various ghost speed modifiers. But we recognize that not everyone is able to compare the speeds they hear as easily as others (its like having multiple of the same footsteps in your ear, doesn't always go well).

With this being said, we have added a bpm finder to the "Tools" section of the side bar. With this you are able to tap out the footsteps speed you hear in game (either by hitting the button or tapping 'f'), and it will give you the bpm detected and the corresponding speed in m/s. You can either have the speed set to 'exact' where the m/s is the exact conversion or 'rounded' which will find the nearest actual ghost speed listed (this setting is found in the "Settings" tab). And if a ghost can be at the speed you just tapped out, it will put a glow around it!

The bpm feature is not something that is shared through the shared journal link, but it is mindful of the 'Ghost Speed', so you can select 150% speed and tap away to help you identify those pesky apocalypse ghosts. I hope you enjoy this feature and as always, if you have concerns or find a bug... let me know!

New PhasWEB development update!
We're nearing the ending for the main functionalities of the website!🥳🎉
Which is kinda sad but fun as well. 😄

I've rewritten the server backend like 3 times now because there were some complications with the module I use to connect you to the server.
It's currently working about 80%, still need to do the collapsed ghosts syncing and allow the leader to kick people through the collapsable users list you see on the bottom of the evidence picker! 😛

I'm still looking for enthusiast testers, even more than ever in this crucial stage of development!
It's still opened partially, and will soon include the live version with the actual connections being made in shared evidence!

I also would still love to here all your suggestions and constructive critisism! 😄

Hiya all, trying to give an update but my message has been deleted twice now.. 😄
I've been working really really really hard this past month to get my site to function and I'm super happy to finally be able to publicize it!

The project includes a shared journal that allows you to connect to a room together with your friends and have more insight about a ghost and synchronize the checkboxes clicked!
That way you're never behind on your teammates in the bus waiting on you haha 😄

It is finally live and I am down to give people the link, though when I add the link I get auto-modded by Discord for "Spamming" while others are able to just insert links however they want 😛

Tonnes of panels and tiny text UI, not only is this hard to read, but VR players would find it impossible to press any buttons.

I made some new UI ideas as i dont really like the current buying menu UI. it seems complicated and way to tricky to use

LOADOUTS:
For the 'LOADOUT' Menu you don't set what you want to add, its similar to the old system of clicking the '+' to add to the truck and '-' to take out of the truck

There's a little animation when you add something (the name lights up orange before fading back to black) it also highlights items that are maxed out in quantity.

The side now shows what's in the truck instead of what will be added as that has been moved to the 'PRESETS' menu

SHOP/STORAGE:
The shop acts similar to the current system but now shows what items are being bought (highlighted orange)

When clicking on an item it now shows the desciption on the side, overtaking the list and also shows the current 'TIER' the item is, as well as small things showing off the differences in those 'TIERS'

Finally there is a small indicator top right next to the current players money showing how much will be left after the purchase

PRESETS:
instead of having 2 'presets' being the only options now there is a whole bunch of custom 'presets' that can be named and selected to be automatically added

While selecting a 'preset' you can see what it will add on the list (highlighted orange) and can be added or removed at the bottom

Finally theres a 'BUY' button if you want to quickly purchace everything in the preset, but this comes with a WARNING message, telling the player what they are about to do

Shop/ storage

There are 4 different values for money with no regard of what they mean outside of buy and sell. You have to tell the player with a first look.

This isn't needed and could be removed.

Tiers

This has a few design issues.
You have 5 font sizes in the side panel, room of only 4 features (some have more), the text is much too small to read in VR,

Overall

There's no way to see what your mouse / controller is hovering/ selected with all the new squares being set to yellow, which is bad for player feedback.

Little thing but + ALL and - ALL should ideally be in the same place on every screen

We've heard peoples issues and do have plans to change the Shop/Storage screen to be much more similar to the "whiteboard shop" in the game before, but with the new theming. Loadouts will remain the same.

No idea when this will happen though.

It's crazy how many things a single screen needs to display, and I think with your proposed changes, there is more to learn and more visual clutter. That's not normally abad thing, but the only issue we have at the moment is that it's visually noisy, and I dont think adding more is the way to do it.

Hey all! I'm new to the server, but I've been having a blast here so far! I wanted to share a Phasmophobia Guide website/web app I've been working on for the past couple of weeks that my friends and I have been using when we play.

It's still in early development, so I'm still tweaking/polishing a lot of the information and tools, but I would love for you all to give it a try while you're ghost hunting and provide any and all feedback.

I'm sure it will, my guess is they would need to implement an entirely new voice recognition software. It works on PC since it has vosk and Windows voice recognition, and since Microsoft owns Xbox the same Microsoft voice recognition works. But since PS5 is Sony they likely have their own voice recognition that will take longer to implement

Hi All. I added a new section to my Phasmophobia site called "Ghost Tests"

Recommended for people playing on Insane/0 Evidence Mode, it will give you a dynamic list of Ghost Tests you can perform based on your current evidence or which ghosts you eliminated, and you can check them off as you go.

You can also switch between Ghost and Test View depending on which one you find more helpful during your investigation, and the information will stay consistent throughout.

See screenshots below for examples.

It's a very experimental/new project, so please let me know if you encounter any bugs whilst using. Any feedback is helpful. Shoutout to @azure urchin for helping me test thus far.

Got the numbers from a streamer who pushed all the way to almost prestige 11 so far. Level 1-100 xp stays the same through out all prestiges (at least to 11) and 100-999 stays at 5513 xp per level. After that it’s just math. Not sure about the formula, it kinda seems like there is one but some of the numbers are off.

Howdy! For everyone that follows updates on the Unofficial Phasmo Cheat Sheet... we have a new feature!

Voice Commands

This is a rather experimental feature that allows you to control the cheat sheet using your voice while in game, this way you don't have to tab out or pause the game to check off an evidence or start a smudge timer!

The "Voice Commands" feature is found in the settings tab, just above the "Shared Journal Link" A list of commands and privacy info can be found by clicking on "Commands and Info >>" in the same section. Once you enable the voice recognition, allow microphone access and ensure it is listening on the same microphone you would use in game, and a little microphone icon should appear on the settings tab itself to let you know it is running. The voice recognition will remain active between resets and will only terminate if you hit disable in the settings.

Once its running you just say the appropriate command and it will mark off things or start timers in the cheat sheet. This does not interfere with the game at all, and the microphone will work in both at the same time, even if the cheat sheet is in the background or not in focus.

Notes:

• Does not work for BPM finder or footstep sounds, we are researching a solution for that
• This feature does not work in FireFox, Opera, or mobile (in many cases) as they don't have a built-in speech-to-text recognition library.
• Currently only supports English
• This is a very experimental feature and may have some bugs. If you find it is not recognizing your phrases, try speaking clearly and if that doesn't help, let me know and we can work through making the recognition system better

I spent some time on this. Lots of copy pasting. I'm on 1440p. Expands the Computer Screen you see in game to the size of your actual computer screen. Do you think it is an improvement? Is this one intuitive enough to not require a pinned instructional image? A possible adjustment to this is that loadouts could be put on the side bar and major functions moved to the bottom row. That would probably be a lot better.

Try it with a 4:3 screen. It is smaller because if someone is playing with a smaller display, it should be visible to them as well (4:3). I think it would be difficult to solve so that it can be freely scaled. In principle, cj is already working on a better shop ui. In the past, I also submitted designs I made myself, but the mods took it as if I wanted to suggest it to the developers. So I haven't submitted a new one since then because it's always deleted... :C

Im going to assume all your numbers are right as I have really poor eyesight and the number differences are things like 8->9 or 6->8. If it was something like 2->7 (which look pretty different) id be suspicious but petty sure your data is more correct. If you want to double check though the levels that were off were:

A quick Microsoft paint doodle of how i think the shop could be improved. The right could be a click or a drag and drop (Just click for console sadly) to the left side which is a loadout / currently selected panel making it abundantly clear what you have currently selected. Could also add the "Add" and "Remove" buttons in the MISC space thinking about it.

What would your idea look like if we got rid of player inventory? I think I've worked out that player inventory can be removed without losing any functionality. Equipment after missions just gets converted back to money.

Could be similar still then i'd imagine just remove the "Own" column for it. I think that'd be the only difference between having an inventory and not.

You wouldn't need a buy/sell button anymore either. Your store doesn't have an add/remove button though, maybe you'd just replace them with those? I'm a little unsure how the mockup actually works though...

EDIT: Actually after staring at it for another minute I think I get it now. Then yeah, by removing inventory you'd remove the need for 2 buttons (buy/sell) and the "own" column, everything else still the same I think.

Here's an interactive demo of how I think the shop/loadout system could be simplified. It drops the "player inventory", no more need to buy/sell. All equipment just gets converted back to money after each mission. Howdy! We listened, and we are excited to announce yet another new feature to the Unofficial Phasmo Cheat Sheet...

Desktop Link

The Desktop Link is a small application that you can run on your desktop that will listen for hotkeys. This software can be linked to the cheat sheet, and once a hotkey is detected (even while you are in game) it will trigger the appropriate action on the cheat sheet. Currently the hotkeys will start the smudge timer and allow for tapping with the BPM Finder, all without having to leave the game or have the web browser in focus!

The new feature is already live and can be found in the "Settings" tab of the cheat sheet.
To use it, simply download the software using the download button in the Desktop Link section of the settings, start the application and hit "Start", hit "Create" in the Desktop Link section of the settings tab of the website, and copy the link id (DL-#####) into the Desktop Link app and hit connect. From here you can change the hotkeys and let it run in the background while you play the game without having to "tab out" or "pause".

Notes:

• Only available for Windows
• Since the application is technically a python script wrapped as an exe, certain browsers or operating systems may try to block it as a false flag. You may need to allow it in your anti-virus settings.
• Since it is open source, the application is unsigned, which may cause Windows to show a warning when you start the application for the first time, if this occurs hit "More info", then "Run anyway".

-you have to take items off the truck wall and place them with F inside the carrier and pick it up

The hunt cooldown timer is super nice. I do have some insight on the footstep speeds. Your footsteps are accurate near the 1.7m/s, but your 1.0m/s is too fast and your 3.0m/s is too slow. When I was doing the research for footstep speed for https://tybayn.github.io/phasmo-cheat-sheet , I encountered this as well and found that the footstep sounds don't scale the same way the actual ghost speeds do, leaving a very strange (non-linear) equation for generating the footsteps sounds dynamically.
