Currently making a morgul blade from lotr. All metal pieces are cast in pewter (a really fun process) in which i had to make the mould using the parts i wanted which were 3D printed and then pressed into the sand. after i got the main shape, i used a piece of granite and a meat tenderizer to weather it by repeatedly battering it. The wood i all carved to as closely match the shape as possible using a belt sander. Still need to do the blade tho! (Thats gonna be made of steel)

Thank you! The original was done in oils while mine was done with acrylics so it was hard to get that rough, almost scratchy texture. At some point I kinda just said “f it we ball” and started making it in my own style while still trying to have the same fundamentals as the original.
