Would have to do it manually, however it is not recommended to merge modpacks you didnt make together, as this can cause issues that wr wont be able to help you solve as we have 0 clue how either pack was made, nor do we know the hows or whys the packs were made the way they were.

You would have better luck making your own pack from scratch with the mods you want.

Plus we can assist you a lot better with unedited pre-made packs OR custom packs made from scratch, as then we atleast have some sort of baseline to work off of.

VS starting in the middle with, trying to guess.

Ex: take the unknown, change the unknown, then try to guess for hours about which unknown thing broke the other unknown thing.... for something that worked before it was edited

Hi. I have the problem that I can't log in on curseforge. When I follow the instructions to log in with Microsoft it always ends with there's a temporary problem. Microsoft asks me to give permission to share my data with Curseforge and after that it has always said there's a temporary problem. So I haven't been able to log in for months. I encountered an issue where I sent a code for a Minecraft modpack. My friend downloaded the mods, but none of the specialised mods that had been altered slightly (like manually changing the recipes in a mod). He was also unable to download the custom keybinds I set in the modback "options.txt" file. Why is this? All of my other peeps were able to download the specialised settings. My speculation to this is that he only downloaded the mods that were uploaded to curseforge, as for why I don't know how.

I’m playing a mod pack called Minecraft Legendary Edition, and I’m connecting to my friends server he’s paying for, 95% of the time when I try to connect to the server it gives me a “Authentication servers are down for maintenance” message, this doesn’t happen for other joining the server and I have been able to join just by retrying for an hour straight, could anyone give some insight for this or is there another discord I could pose this question in? Hey, I have quite the unusual Issue with my modpack released on curseforge. It is called "JetztAuchMit...". I recently updated the modpacks name back to the name i just told you after a Halloween Special. Now when someone is trying to download the modpack completly fresh, the curseforge app is creating a folder under windows that shouldnt exist, since the 3 dots are NOT removed for some reason as it did every time before. This triggers 2 problems. 1st no mods seem be able to load, despite the base game launching with no issue. 2nd the folder seems to confuse windows to the point, that it is not deletable. Help plz 😅

When you update the name of a modpack, this is not changing the name of the folder. You will need to change the name of the folder from your ends as well

The folder is going to be named off of information on curseforge about your project - not what your local folder is named

When you create a profile, this is creating a folder with the name you originally put. When changing or sharing this modpack, the name will not change

I started playing the cobbleverse modpack with my friends then all of a sudden CF wouldn't launch it anymore saying "Failed to load modpack, user not logged in" I've taken all the relevant troubleshooting methods like reinstalling both MC & the modpacks, checking my account is linked and legitimate but nothing works. If anyone can help me that'd be much appreciated.

Ok the instance keeps automatically ending after about 1 sec of loading. I don't think I have any incompatible mods. I have AppleSkin, Cloth Config API, Clumps, Create, Create Crafts & Additions, Create Steam 'n' Rails, GraveStone, JEI, Mantle, ModernFix, Nature's Compass, Tinkers Construct, Xaero's minimap and world map. I don't have any idea why its just killing the instance.

I can't seem to get the curseforge app to recognize any of my steam games. Whenever I try to add them manually, the app will scan for 1-2 seconds and return a "game not found" message. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as restarting my pc, but to no avail.

Played a lot? The worlds and mods can take a lot of space. You can open up the instance folder and check each folders size.

If you are in Russia, or use a Russian ISP, you might be affected by DPI (Deep Packet Inspection), which blocks services like CurseForge, Modrinth and some other stuff.
You need to use a VPN that bypasses that, which might get you in trouble with the government.

@max Turn on “Alternative Download Method” in CurseForge’s settings, then close the app, delete the Cache folder, reopen CurseForge, and try downloading again.

Open CurseForge → click the gear icon (Settings) on the left → choose “Minecraft” → scroll down until you see “Alternative Download Method” → turn it ON.

Now close CurseForge completely.

Then do this:

Open your File Explorer → go to “This PC → Local Disk (C:) → Users → your username → AppData → Roaming → CurseForge → Cache” → delete everything inside the Cache folder.
